The Buccaneer Feast was written up to be a 'must see' when in George Town. All the advertising listed the price at $52/ person. A little pricey, but we thought for dinner and a show, could be worth it. When we got there we were actually charged $55. The food was buffet style and lived up to everything negative I could possibly say about buffet food. Although was a lot of selection, there was practically nothing that was fit to eat. The only redeeming food selection was the pasta chef. This was prepared fresh right in front of you and the chef did an excellent job. The 'Show' consisted of a single local with a small torch who spent almost 5 minutes walking through the dining area touching the torch to his hand or leg, and lighting and eating small bits of tissue paper. As he exited he took a mouthful of brandy or something and spit fire two or three times. We thought, OK, just a tease he will be back for the full show later. We never saw him again. The pirates consisted of three individuals, 2 men and 1 woman in costume. They performed two approximately 30 second mock sword fights, and stopped to pose for pics if you wanted. For two of us the bill totaled with one glass of wine to $117. After my credit card did the conversion, I paid $152 for 6 minutes of entertainment, and a lot of food that wasn't fit to eat. Easily the worst encounter we had for our entire vacation. Save your money and head next door to Stingers, behind the Comfort Suites and hit the happy hour selection from 4-7. Excellent food, great prices.
