I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The staff used to be really attentive an interested in ensuring customers were really satisfied. I have recently taken 3 different sets of important clients and have had several problems. One client was seriously overcharged but did not realise till the next day and when he raised it he was treated very badly - it left a bitter taste, the next two occasions my clients found the service difficult, bossy and slow. The final straw was when we visited for a quiet meal and were just left waiting for 5 minutes whilst the staff busied themselves and pretty much couldnt be bothered to take us to a table but thought that writing stuff down or entering stuff into the billing computer was more important. When I complained the impression I got was that it was considered my complaint was invalid and the face of the staff memeber was defensive and his manner quite aggressive. The food and wine there has always been good but the service means I will not go again. Shame for them as I often took clients. Perhaps they think they are too important now to worry about really genuine customer service and perhaps it is only a few of the staff not all of them.
