Description: The George Town Yacht Club (GTYC) is located on the waterfront at The Barcadere Marina, Grand Cayman. Conveniently located next to the airport, with a FREE shuttle running every 15 minutes, it is a great place to spend time waiting for a flight. It is accessible by land or sea, with plenty of parking for your car or boat, and is the perfect place to relax after a day out on the water, unwind after a day in the office, share your fish stories, or simply hang out with good friends. The menu is appealing to all tastes with an emphasis on local seafood, from conch ceviche to our daily fresh catch, and our famous flame grilled dishes served with your choice of sides. Of course, lunchtime favourites such as burgers and wings are offered or, for those with a lighter palate, the salads are outstanding.GTYC is also an ideal place to host parties, functions and events, either poolside or inside. The private clubhouse and scenic balcony are available to individuals, companies, service clubs and other organizations, to host fishing tournaments, birthday, Christmas and New Years Eve parties, wedding receptions, business meetings, seminars, charitable and cultural events or any other casual, or formal, function.

The best conch cerviche on island. A must try for both residents and visitors. cilantro based, tangy vinaigrette taste, flavourful, with fresh ingredients.

My wife and I dined twice at The Georgetown Yacht Club in Grand Cayman. As the name implies, some tables are outside overlooking a variety of boats.
We split 2 different appetizers, one was a Conch Cervice that was marvelous and the second was
Conch Fritters that were also very good. They were served with johnnycakes that were fresh and
very enjoyable.
For entrees I had grilled Wahoo one night and pan fried Tuna the second night. Both were mouthwatering. My wife had the grilled Wahoo and Grilled Chicken on the respective evenings.
Both are served with two sides, the favorite being The Mac&Cheese with truffle oil. I'm a sucker for homemade French Fries which were nice.
We had two different servers, both ladies and both efficient. Our first server was from Ireland and full of information and very pleasant.
Dinners cost $20CI which is rare on Grand Cayman. It's a little hard to find as it's tucked behind the Owen Roberts Airport. Well worth the trip

We recently delivered a yacht to the Cayman Islands, ending up at the Barcadere Marina.
We wandered up to the George Town Yacht Club restaurant, and were greeted with a friendly
"Hello". Over the next couple of days, we enoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks their. The food was great, try the chicken curry! The service was even better....Thanks to Joan and Shannon and the rest of the crew!

The GTYC is a local favorite! Best bet when leaving is to check in at the airport, go there & enjoy a great meal before turning in your rental car just minutes away. Also great fun on a Sunday afternoon.
