“Horrible, spoiled food, worst customer service!”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 via mobile

Ordered a kabob, got the sauce on the side. The meat was chewy and way over done. The sauce was bad, tasted spoiled. When we asked for a different sauce they made us pay for it because we already tried the spoiled sauce. The cashier who said he name was Tamika, wouldn't just exchange the sauce because she said we opened it. No kidding, that's how we knew it was bad. Unbelievable she didn't care. She just kept saying the $1.75 price over and over. She was so rude and I would never go back.

Dear Michigan48326,

Thank you ever so much for taking the time to inform us of this unbelievable display of poor customer service - the antithesis of everything we stand for!

The staff member's behavior was inexcusable.

As in every restaurant, our ultimate goal is a happy customer, not making an extra $1.75 for a side sauce. Considering we have a dozen sauces to choose from, there were so many opportunities to give you one that you love!

If you still happen to be on island please come back and allow us to make it up to you. If not, please email the management team at kebab@kebab.ky so we can apologise again!

Should this be my only opportunity to contact you, please know that we are deeply ashamed of our employee's behavior and at somewhat of a loss as to what to do with her. We have been teaching and training the right way to speak to our guests, complaint-handling 101 and you name it. This is clearly a fail on our side!

We will continue to redirect, train and instill best practices into every team member.

Should you visit us again, we will do our utmost to undo the damage from this encounter.

Sincerely,
Laura Silverman and the entire Al La Kebab Team

“Yum!”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

We ate at Al Le Kebab for lunch one afternoon because it was decently priced and a short walk from our hotel. They had a few different options for meat, and sauces so you can pick a combination that works for you. I thought the food was great, and would be a good option for lunch or a less expensive dinner. Some members of our group came back another day as well. Good fries too!

“Tasty, Friendly, and Fast”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

This little stand has yummy falafel and chicken kabob sandwiches with many different toppings and sauces to choose from. It may be a little expensive for what it offers, but is definitely tasty; a nearby burger stand is a bit cheaper. The tabbouli side is disappointing, however. Instead of the standard Lebanese model of finely chopped parsley with some tomato and bulgur, this is shredded romaine, mint, and another green which may be a local parsley variety with a different taste. Service is friendly, efficient, and fast.

Dear Mamitxoh,
Thank you for your feedback and your patronage!

It is unfortunate that you did not receive a Tabbouleh Salad (chopped mint, parsley, cracked wheat, tomatoes and green onion), the salad you described is the Fattoush Salad and consists of romaine lettuce, small amounts of mint and parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers and pita chips.

How great that this confusion did not take away from your general enjoyment. We look forward to serving you again on your next trip.

Sincerely,
Laura Silverman and the entire Al La Kebab Team

“Soooooo tasty!”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

This is a great place. The food is really, really delicious and very fresh. It was my first time trying falafel (crazy, right?) and tabbouleh and they were both really good. I got the half beef, half falafel kebab wrap and I would eat that once a week for the rest of my life. The prices are very cheap for Grand Cayman as well and there are chickens running around outside (well, in all of Grand Cayman) that make for some fun mealtime entertainment. This is a great place and will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Grand Cayman.

“Great food. Great price.”

Located in a stand alone hut just behind the RBC bank in a strip mall, Al La Kebab serves good Mediterranean food at a fair price.
