Came here one Sunday morning after my friend would not stop banging on about it being great for an english breakfast - ha.
Has to be said, he had the right idea. The range of items they have on their breakfast meal is great - pancakes, waffles, fruits, granola and then the hot meals. I went for the meat feast breakfast. Aside from the random 2 grapes and piece of melon (why? i can only think that's for decoration but it was inoffensive) the dish was great. The "hash brown" is more like a rosti tye with potato and onion, a nice different texture on the plate. The sausages and bacon were delicious and the sausage and bacon omelette was really nice. The dish also came with eggs. Was a huge portion of food that came with toast too and coffee or tea.
The one thing that was a lacking was the service - waitress kept asking me to do the work and pass dishes to person sitting next to me, she would forget items, or ask to repeat what we'd ask for. But it was more like an endearing english cafe vibe from that than in hindering our experience.
I think for a delicious, friendly breakfast in a small cosy cafe this is definitely the best place to come!
