We just came back from a wonderful week at 7 Mile Beach Resort and Club. Our stay was quite nice and our room had just been renovated (Unit 1). Granite countertops in all rooms, new tile and appliances, rooms were very clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for our two boys and my wife and I, as well as a large living room for everyone to play in which was great. The kitchen was also very large and had all we needed to cook our meals, we also had the two nice grills out on pool deck to grill up all the fresh fish and steaks (I recommend Foster’s grocery in The Strand plaza, excellent meat counter).
We also had an awesome experience with the resort recommended child care professional. She watched our boys in the room while we went on some dives and both boys just adored Sheena, I highly recommend her services as a truly compassionate person to watch children.
The office staff was extremely courteous and assisted us a couple of times. They also have a quite nice library of books and DVD’s in the office to borrow from. All the TV’s are HD flat screens and we were able to plug in a laptop with HDMI cable and use the movies we brought with us.
Beach access was a short path and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. It was great spot for boys to play and enjoy the water without the worry of being too crowded.
I would highly recommend this resort and we will definitely be staying there again.

Room Tip: Room number one has just been renovated.

We just finished a week at 7 Mile Beach Resort and Club. We were last here 16 years ago for our honeymoon, and we still love this place. The rooms are large, with a kitchen and living room. The master bedroom is large with a king size bed and a nice adjoining bathroom. Our son loved his bedroom with two double beds. The walk to the beach is easy and takes 2 minutes. The pool is great and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. The staff is helpful and friendly. Angel at the front desk is great and Andy at the dive shop was excellent. He took us to Sting Ray City and was helpful all week with questions about snorkeling. We took a tour with Gilbert Nicolletta with Joe Tourist tours (he did a presentation at the welcome breakfast) that was fabulous. We're staying 4 more days and 7Mile Beach Resort didn't have all 4 of the days, so we moved 2 properties down the beach to the Mariotte, and I will tell you that although this place is beautiful, it can't compare to our first week at 7MBR. It's too big and their part of the beach is way, way too crowded. 7MBR is a bargain. Go and you'll be happy you did.

These condos are set just behind a complex that is beachfront. It is literally 2 minutes walk down a lane to the beach. They have ample beach chairs and pool chairs. The condo's have a washer and dryer, internet, full kitchen. The condos are clean and comfortable. The condos have nice patio furniture and some have newer living room furniture (they are updating all the condo's). The pool is large and there is a hot tub. They are located in a convenient area of & mile beach to the shopping and grocery stores.

We were there 5/31 to 6/7, while I wish I had the ocean view, still can't beat the location. There is great snorkeling right on the beach, saw several fish, the man made pods at the Marriott is where several people go to snorkel on 7 Mile Beach and it's right there!

As far as the grounds at the hotel, and the complaints from previous reviews, The beach is plenty big, plenty of chairs, and you don't have to rent them. We only had to get an umbrella from the office 1 day, they do leave a couple on the beach. The hot tub jets do work, you just have to turn on the timer which is over on the wall. Hot water to shower was never an issue. The unit was clean! Saw some reviews about the beds not being very comfortable, the master wasn't bad, could use some upgrades on the sheets and pillows. Unit had everything we needed!

First warning, don't stop at Treasure Island market, seems they like doing some special conversions when you pay in US currency, and OVER priced! Stopped there as soon as we arrived to get a few things, never graced the door again after we figured it out! If you need alcohol walk just passed it to Big Daddy's, guys in there were super nice, but be prepared a case of domestic beer isn't cheap, about $50 US. We got wine and rum to fill the gap.

Food, would recommend all in walking distance, Coconut Joes for breakfast, XQ's, right next to Big Daddy's, great pizza! Peppers, excellent Jerk Chicken, and probably the least expensive place we ate! F and B, cool bar, and Chicken Chicken,a little further down. We drove to Guy Harvey's in Georgetown, wonderful food!

We did go to the Camana Bay Mall and ate at Michaels, way over priced, limited menu, not a fan! Shops close early, but pretty view of the Bay. Should have eaten at Karoo, big crowd there!

Things to do, String Ray Sandbar and Coral gardens 1/2 day Catamaran trip, we used Captain Dexter, picks you up and drops you off! Nice crew, take an underwater camera, you can get one at the dive shop at hotel. Eden Rock snorkeling, AMAZING! We rented a car a couple of days to see the turtle farm, star fish point, Rum point, Kaibo, and the Blow Holes. Stopped at several beaches along the way, had a blast!

Room Tip: Beach side, we stayed on third Floor, unit 38, closest to beach access and corner unit.

We traded our Marriott timeshare again to stay at this lovely small and quiet resort.

The Cayman Islands is our favorite Caribbean Islands. This is the only island we feel comfortable renting a car! The locals have different colored license plates which helps them to remind you to stay on the right side of the road! :-)

This is our 3rd time staying here and we will definitely be back! We truly always enjoy having a kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a screened patio. The staff is always pleasant, professional and very helpful! Thank you all and a special thank you to Angelica!

Everything is within walking distance. There is 2-grocery stores Fosters or Kirks (10 -15 min walk either way, liked Kirks better). There are many restaurants close by. We enjoyed eating at Coconut Joes across the street from the hotel. The food is very good , breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a very nice staff. The Marriott is right next door, also has very good food but of course is more expensive. The downtown shopping area is only about a 20 minute walk.

If you prefer not to walk, Andy's car rental is right across the street from the 7 mile beach resort, great prices and they will match internet prices! We rented a small compact car again this time for the week.

As other reviews mentioned, we also always get a ground floor to avoid going up the steps and to be steps away from the pool! :-).

Oscar, the manager, thank you again for a wonderful stay! Please don't forget to thank Angelica again for us!

Room Tip: We also suggest , a lower level unit on the side or rear set of building closest to the beach.

Traded our Marriott Kauai timeshare for another stay on Cayman and ended up at 7 Mile Beach Resort. We very much enjoyed the property which is clean and quiet and conveniently located. We had a ground floor unit (on the corner) and much preferred it as we didn't have to haul luggage and dive gear (and groceries) up a flight of stairs. Also, more convenient to resort pool. Easy access to beach too. No issues with Internet which is included.

Room Tip: There are three sets of buildings. We suggest a lower level unit on the side or rear set of buildin...

This was a very quiet and convenient property and we loved everything about it. The condo was huge and well appointed. Beach close by and we loved Coconut Joes right across the street. This was a perfect place to stay if you want quiet and relaxation! We would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: We stayed in number 5 which was a corner unit with lots of privacy.
