We absolutely loved our week at the Caribbean Club! The accomodations were beautiful, very spacious and clean. Way better then expected, and we expected alot. Thank you to Danielle and everyone else working there, you were all so helpful. The units have a great views and are right on the beach! The housekeeping and turndown service every day were icing on the cake. The restaurant Lucca's on premise was very good, especially their Sunday Brunch.

My wife and I were married at Caribbean Club on June 19th. We descended upon the resort like an invading army, and we all wish that we didn't have to return to the States. Danielle Wolfe - the property manager - was a dream to work with. She secured rooms for all of our guests, helped coordinate our work with wedding planners, catering through Luca, and all other needs. She was attentive and accommodating, and without her help the wedding wouldn't have been nearly the success it was.

I realize that not everyone is going to get married at Caribbean Club - but I would certainly recommend you consider it. So, what should the more casual traveler know?

1. Luca, the restaurant on property, is amazing. They have a wonderful selection of wine, the food is incredible, and you should definitely try the Sunday brunch. I think it can legitimately be called one of the best brunches in the world.
2. The beach is stunning. The sand is soft and clean, and the water is so clear. It never seemed crowded at all, and there was very little foot traffic from any direction. Although there are big resorts in either direction, we really felt like we were in our own private setting. Unlike other Caribbean locations, you're never bothered by people trying to sell things. It's just you, your companions, the sun and sand.
3. The rooms are amazing. The layout is huge, and they all feature marble kitchens and baths, great views, and enough space to not feel crowded even at full capacity. The kitchens are fully stocked with appliances and utensils, so you can make all your meals there if you chose. We stayed in one of the oceanfront rooms this time, but spent plenty of time in both the poolside and tower rooms. You can't really go wrong with any of them.
4. The location is very convenient. Right behind the property (although you can't see it or hear any traffic inside) is a shopping center with a supermarket, a liquor store and a wine shop. We stocked up on goods from these places, brought them back to the Caribbean Club and only ate out when we chose to.

We originally wanted a nice place to get married. We found a spot to return to year after year. I highly recommend the Caribbean Club.

We've just returned from a two-week stay at the Caribbean Club and are now trying to work out how to glue pictures of the amazing views to our windows at home!

We booked thanks to other TripAdvisor reviewers and were absolutely delighted. The condos are huge with amazing facilities and the staff are unobtrusive but really helpful when needed. The beach is out of this world - on the busiest day we only counted 13 people on the beach - and we never had a problem getting one of the lovely beach loungers. On most occasions there were only a couple of other people in the pool. This was in stark contrast to a couple of the other venues on Seven Mile Beach. When we took our morning beach walk we were struck by the contrast between the Caribbean Club and other stretches of private beach where the loungers (and the guests) were crowded on top of each other.

For anyone concerned about the self-catering aspect, don't. The supermarket is very well stocked, and, much to our amusement, also carried a huge range of Waitrose-branded goods. Eating out (if you're used to UK prices) is expensive and there doesn't seem to be any way round that. A fairly average one course meal at Eduardo's - the Italian restaurant over the road - with a glass of wine, beer and soft drinks for the kids didn't give us much change from £150. The brunch buffet at Luca (on-site) was thoroughly enjoyable - with fantastic fresh ingredients, beautifully presented.

The new Tiki Beach bar is in a lovely setting (good jerk pork), the Calypso Grill has a fantastic view, and Michael's in the new Camana Bay complex has brilliant staff. Prudence was a fantastic waitress.

We hired a car for three days and relied on the island's bus service ($2 each) for many other trips - completely safe and you flag them down and ask to be dropped off at your preferred point on their route. It's also safe to walk down the roads at night - so the ten minute trot to the Reef Grill on a Friday night is well worth the effort for dancing to great live bands - but beware of the pirates!

Just returned from a week's vacation at the Caribbean Club. It was phenomenal all around, if we could we'd return tomorrow. We realized why there are almost entirely 5 star reviews on this hotel (and by the way, if you are the one person not giving it 5 stars, that speaks volumes). If you are reading this review on TripAdvisor, you know this is the type of property that is why you are reading TripAdvisor - you might not have heard of it otherwise, but it's the absolute best place to stay. We found it on TripAdvisor, and are so, so happy that we did!
The views are divine, the accommodations are luxurious, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The location is perfect - it's easy to get from there to the supermarket, and there are plenty of great dining locations within walking distance as well. We were a family of 14 and we had no problems getting a shaded place to sit any time of day; we occupied all bedrooms for a week and heard no noise; we used the gym at all times of day and rarely was there more than one person in the gym. What we saw every day was a gorgeous beach all day long, a beautiful infinity pool, and stunning sunsets. Danielle and all of the staff were very helpful, getting us cribs when we needed them, a grill when we wanted one, reservations/advice when we needed them, etc. With 14 people in our group, there were virtually no complaints - we just had an amazing time, and like I said, we'd return in a heartbeat if we could. Our good friends were staying at the Ritz, but when they saw our place they said - wow! - there was just no comparison. Go, relax and enjoy! You'll be so happy you did.

There is an awful lot to like about The Caribbean Club but we did have one or two gripes.
The Condo's are amazing, extremely spacious, very comfortable, fantastically well equipped, everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Very clean.
Very comfortable beds.Nice linen. Fabulous views of the ocean. Right on the beach.Very close to the supermarket and restaurants.
Our gripes were that my daughters rooms which were on the roadside of the condo, they found the road very noisy at night and early morning which did disturb their sleep. The "Fully Equipped Gym" is actually tiny, one treadmill, one bike and one cross trainer, there is another small area for weights, the room is very hot and stuffy. Although not always busy during the day, at peak times you can't always get the equipment you want.
My other grumble was the lack of sun shades on the beach, my husband did phone prior to booking and was told there were plenty, in fact there are 6. This meant people were getting up early and doing the routine of putting towels on sunbeds and then disappearing for most of the morning. The sunshades were always all gone by 6.30am. We did complain about this and Danielle did say it couldn't be monitored. I'm sorry but I disagree and who wants to have to be up so early when on holiday. There are some shades around the pool but this is usually where the children are so it can be noisy.
My final gripe is that the showers in the bathrooms were just awful, beautiful spacious bathrooms but just no power from the shower, water was little more than a trickle so that it was difficult to wash shampoo from my hair.It has an odd control where the more you turn on the shower , the hotter it is, so to have it on full power, the water is red hot, it doesn't have a separate thermostat .
We did call maintenance who came and fiddled about and then said nothing could be done.
We did have a great holiday and loved the beautiful beach which is very clean.
These were just irritations, we did have a lovely stay and Danielle was very good and let us stay in our room for a late checkout as we had a night flight home which meant we were able to have a few hours on the beach.

Our stay was for five great nights! The place was very large so we could all get some quiet time when we felt like it. The location is perfect! The view of the ocean is hard to beat, you are so close to the water. It was also very close to the supermarket so we could walk right over and get anything we needed without it being a hassle. I loved it because we were away from all the crowds at the other hotels. So, if you like a more private feel this place is for you! The only drawback that I can think of is the rooms on the street side were quite noisy at night and the people above us sounded like they were having a furniture moving party every morning before 8am! But, I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great location but the manager did not deliver on her verbal agreements. Our room rate was 33% more than we had bargained for. Rooms excellent, restaurant superb. Management poor, uncaring.

I am sad to hear that you felt that the rate was not correct, as I explained the wedding party had requested that you would occupie one of the Oceanfront Villas so that they could meet their oblibation of having all 3 of the Oceanfront Villas for them to have the welcome party on the Beach!

Congratulations to Lauren and Craig!

And a big Thanks to Callie and Murphy for their help organizing it all!

All the best,
Danielle
