Owner description: Home to one of the hemisphere's largest breeding populations of red-footed boobies and a large colony of swooping frigate birds.

The Second Floor Deck is always open, even if the Visitors Center has very limited hours. From there you can see a half dozen bird species.

We went out on bikes from southern cross resort around 4 pm and met our diving guide with his girlfriend who offer this advise as he left don't stay too long the bugs come out around 5 PM the place seems otherworldly but is fun to walk out on boardwalk. We got on our bikes as it was getting dark 5 pm and then as we rode back the trees and bushes seemed to start buzzing and the bugs started coming we pulled in the the club just as they stared biting

Loved the displays that help you familiarise with the flora and fauna and the very helpful staff/volunteers. You can also use the viewing platform at any time even when the indoor part is closed.

Nice place to go to in Little Cayman to watch the birds, recommended, and just a few hundred yards from the airport

Our resort offered bikes for guests, so we visited the booby pond one afternoon. The office has a lot of good information about critters and fauna native to the island. The day we were there, we saw a lot of frigates, egrets and boobies. You can only see the boobies through the telescopes, but take your time scanning the trees. We found a pair of them perching in their nest with at least 4 babies.
