“SHARK!!!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

We got to see unbelievable sights! Caught a 4-ft shark, saw huge stingrays, large schools of fish coming in! It was a beautiful place to go! Well worth the trip!

“Great for snorkeling”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Really nice place to snorkel. Gentle slope to walk into the water, crystal clear, lot's of fish, pretty beach. There is a shelter house near the beach where you can picnic or at least get out of the sun if needed. That is the only facility. It's a barren, beautiful beach. You need to bring any food/water that you will need. There is nobody to sell anything there, which is why we go.

If you don't snorkel you can just sit in the warm water and watch the waves. There is however a fairly strong current that develops because of the currents rushing around the point but you can see the wave action and should not be a problem for average swimmers.

“Awesome snorkeling”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

You get dropped off at the thatched roof hut, carry your snorkeling gear down the beach to the long pier, put your gear on and enjoy. You're in about a 3 knot current drifting past individual coral heads. It will take you back down to the hut where you can have another go if you like.

“Perfect afternoon”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Gorgeous place. However, beach is covered with plastic washed ashore. Spent some time picking up trash - four of us came away with four huge green trash bags full of plastic crap. If you go there - do the same. And please reconsider buying over packaged nonsense like bottled water. Bags provided at shelter house.

“Like you are on a deserted island”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Clear beautiful water but a lot of trash washed up on shore you feel like your alone on a deserted island with food and water provided by southern cross club. They drove us out there for about an hour which is long enlighten for husband and I .its nice to be able to walk right out into water
