Great group. Attractive dive shop which is professionally run. The boats were immaculate and well organized. Dive masters were both skilled and entertaining. They truly keep an eye on you for safety. Use "valet" method bringing the BCD and tank to you at a dive seat in the back of the boat which avoids falls which are common if you have to walk in your fins. And YES they take all that heavy gear off and change your tank when you get back on. RELAX!!!

This is the second time that I have gone out with Reef Divers in Cayman Brac. Loved every minute of it. The staff is more than courteous, everyone from Ian, and Eric the captains of the boat I was on to BJ and Beccy(I hope I spelled her name correctly) the dive masters that helped us out on the boat and showed us the way under the water. Also the easy of the honor system for shore tanks, you don't need to go into the main part of the shop and bother anyone simply sign them out out then back in and pay at the end of your stay. The best of the best! I hope to return nest year and I will be diving with Reef Divers again!

Have been wanting to dive the smaller Cayman Islands for a number of years. Finally got the chance the week of May 4 thru May 11, 2013.
Stayed at the Brac Reef Beach Resort and the dive operation is directly behind it and almost on the water. Reviewing the Resort separately.
The morning of 5/5 we (7 of us) received our dive orientation, the boat we'd be on 'Little Sister' and met 2 of the crew--Ian and Hellen--both Brits. Brett (Canadian) would be with us the next day and the rest of the week. Once we'd gone over the instructions, safety, dive entry and exit procedures we proceeded to our first dive..a dramatic wall dive with great cut-thrus to 110 ft. or so. This was the beginning of a 17 dive week which included 2 dives at Little Cayman--about 45 minute boat ride from the dock.

The dive crew was very professional, worked easily with each other and provided concierge diving or as close as you're likely to get. They liked to joke with the group and quickly established rapport with the new additions to the boat as well as us 'old heads' every day. For us photogs---we were hardly in the water and they were handing us our cameras...same thing on exit, camera, fins and then help up the ladders. The dive boats were very well laid out and the number of divers was controlled to provide comfort and space. Fruit, cookie and chip snacks were provided during our surface intervals.....and plenty of ice water.

Mooring buoys or sand cuts were used for anchoring to prevent any reef damage. All the reefs we dove on were in great shape and lots of fish life although no big schools like is sometimes seen at Brac. Was hoping to get some pics of reef sharks or nurse sharks but they must have been on holiday that week. Also, didn't get to see/photograph the large crabs that inhabit the Brac reefs...guess I'll have to go back.

Water temp was in the low 80s so it was 3 mil wetsuit for 1st dive and diveskin for the next two.
Visibility was great on all dives and the sites we went to were very diverse with lots of coral cuts and channels that you could start at 50 ft and end up on the wall at 100+ ft.

One event that was particularly enjoyable was an impromptu birthday celebration for Hellen and one of the divers. Both received a decorating on the stern that will be remembered for a long time. Ian and Brett really did a job on both of them...and I expect they'll be getting theirs come their special days.

All in all, I've been diving since 1976 and this has to be in the top 3 dive vacations I've had.

We have been diving all over the Caribbean for almost 20 years and I would put this in the top two run dive shops that we have experienced. Very organized and efficient. The dive staff are excellent. Boats are nice. Highly recommend.

We just finished our 17 dives plus an optional night dive and couldn't be happier! Reef Divers on Cayman Brac will make make you want to dive with them again. Our only disappointment was Crab Alley on the South side.... Not a single crab. But the reef sharks more than made up for that! Thank you, Helen! All kidding aside, Jen, Helen, Erik and Brett made our trip. The valet service is fantastic, and although we are a little crazy about setting up our own gear, we quickly learned to trust the professional and safety oriented staff.

The best thing on these trips are the VERY thorough dive briefings. The staff always draws a detailed map of the dive site and offers information on what to expect. As experienced divers, we usually choose to do our own thing. However, for those who haven't been diving lately, there is always a dive master in the water to take you on a tour and deliver you safely back to the boat.

We had excellent conditions the entire trip. We would have done a second, optional night dive, but high seas curtailed that adventure. Reef Divers also offers an optional twilight dive for those not up to night diving yet. Nights dives were offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the twilight dive on Wednesdays, with a minimum of 10 divers. We are already planning our return to Brac!
