We went to the Brac for a week of diving and stayed at the Brac Reef Beach Resort. We had a fabulous time. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and everything we needed was in easy walking distance. The food is surprisingly amazing for steam table fare---the chef goes all out to prepare delicious soups, entrees, and desserts. The dive shop is equally fab---well-run by great people who went out of their way to make every dive memorable. There are mosquitoes on the island and I got a bit chewed up, but other than that, it's an out of the way paradise where you can get away from the world and enjoy the simple things. We highly recommend this resort.

On Dec. 23rd, 2013 thru Jan. 3rd.,2014 Mary & I and eight of our friends spent a wonderful 10 days at Brac Reef Beach Resort. It had been two years and two months because of health issues since our last trip. Trudy and her staff we wonderful as always. Chef Gregory and his wonderful staff made sure there was something I could eat because of my throat cancer recovery. The rooms were clean and beautiful as always. This operation is what we compare all other trips that we take. Brac Reef Beach Resort is our second home. Thanks to all at Brac Reef for their care and concern for our comfort. You are the greatest.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable. I prefer the Junior Suites.

Layout of the hotel is nice - all rooms face the ocean and pool. The food and service was great. As a resident of Grand Cayman we were afforded a special resident rate. The laid back atmosphere and tranquil setting reminded us of the main island 20 years ago.

We had a wonderful stay at the Brac Reef Beach resort. The food is outstanding. I thought the other reviewers must be crazy and that the food could not be as good as they said. For an all inclusive...wow! I would suggest going with a reduced meal plan of just breakfast and dinner if you are able to skip a meal. The hotel is very clean. It was rebuilt 3 years ago after Hurricane Paloma. The Tipsy Turtle bar on site is fun. Bring your cards or games, you can hang out here. We came here to dive. If you aren't diving or snorkeling, I'm not sure what you would do all week. I do recommend renting a car for half a day to see the island. You can go in the caves and explore. We missed the museum and I hear that's worth seeing. Enjoy! You can' go wrong with this place.

The staff and chiefs threw an outstanding New Year's Eve party. Many locals came for the food & music. They typically have a band on friday nights.

This was a great dive resort and we managed 18 dives in the week that we were there over Christmas. Staff was all friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and met our needs. There was a good variety of food, although only one restaurant. Dive operation was excellent as they did all the work in terms of our gear. If you are looking for a vacation that doesn't include diving, this place may be a bit too dive oriented for you but we had a great time.
