This dive resort is top notch ! Upon check in I met several couples that had have visited in the past... not just last year but for years and years and years. That told me we were going to be well taken care of. And that for sure we were. The diving was fabulous the rooms nice clean and well appointed. The staff was nice and fun and service was well above just average. Understand they don't have a lot to offer but diving on BRAC but they do A LOT with they they have on their own property. Specifically Dannet, Junior, Jinky and her sister, Tom & Josdy at the bar, Marlon (aka Bingo), Natalie and Laura at the front Desk and many others went the extra mile each day to make our stay most enjoyable. Not to mention Jeff and Steve at the Dive shop- (see Reef Divers review for more info on them) I will go back for sure !!

Room Tip: all are good - but next time i will ask for a group floor for convenience.

Spent a week at the Cayman Brac Reef Hotel and had a fabulous time. The hotel is recently rebuilt after damage from a hurricane so everything is updated, clean, and tidy. The hotel is small (my guess is maybe 50 rooms) and intimate, catering to those who love the water. The staff is excellent, always a smile and a hello when you pass them. The food is varied, delicious and plentiful (I could write a whole review on the dining experience, but won't). The biggest surprise is the diving, it was spectacular! This hotel offers "valet diving" where the only thing they don't do for you is breathe! You simply sit on a little platform at the stern of the boat, they bring your gear to you and help you get suited up. What a treat!!!! You then have the option to take a little 20 minute tour with one of the guides and then go out on your own to explore or explore on your own the whole dive. Our captain, Helen and her assistant Steve, were extremely knowledgeable about every dive site (and there are MANY). always willing to please they let our group dive the wreck two times! There is a LOT to see and every dive was different. We saw everything on our list and were thrilled to see a 3 inch, yellow seahorse on our second to last dive!!!! All in all, we shared many laughs on the boat and off (ask for Helen, she's a hoot), relished in Jacques Cousteau underwater beauty, and slept like babies at night. I am planning to return again soon to bring my college aged son who will appreciate the laid back atmosphere and the beautiful diving experience. if you're a diver, Cayman Brac Reef Hotel is a "must do". If you are a non-diver, they also have a little spa and give excellent facials and massages.

This was our second stay here. It is an all-inclusive dive resort. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable (not crazy about foam pillows though). The staff is incredible! They treat you like friends. The food is fantastic, the bar is large and outdoors. Most guests are divers, but there are activities for the whole family. They have a Bingo night, trivia night, and movie night. Our favorite dive resort anywhere. The pool is great, they have bicycles available for use, and can arrange island tours. Can't wait to come back n

This was our second trip to the Brac Reef Beach Resort and it was like going back to see old friends. Everyone on staff makes you feel so welcome. The rooms are well appointed and very clean, the food is incredible and they offer some of the best soups I have ever eaten. They have nightly entertainment like Bingo, movie night, trivia night and a crab race. On our last night we were treated to some top notch music featuring a local guitar player/ singer, a local violinist, and. as the night progressed some of the guests who were professional musicians joined in. What a great way to end a vacation.
The dive shop is first rate and the Divemasters are the best.

Room Tip: We didn't ask for anything special but both times ended up in the same room. We were on the seco...

The Resort and food, staff included, were great. Our package was a great deal, meals and diving included. Valet diving as advertised was the most awful experience we have ever had. The DM's will NOT let you set up your own gear/tank and therefore, on each of my dives my tank was not set up the way I like it and made my dives uncomfortable. It appeared that the main focus was to get all the divers quickly off and on the boat with no regard to equipment and divers. Not once did a DM check with the divers while diving and there was no mention during the pre dive talk about Half tank, 20 minute turn arounds or any other safety items of what I expect from Professional dive operations. I asked if they wanted us to use a safety sausage if we were way out and needed help and the DM said he wouldn't know what to do if we used one, REALLY??? We have always had a DM go with us and stay with us the whole time. They usually try to show us not just tell us what to look for. The DMs did not stay at the exit of swim throughs to ensure that all divers were safely out. In my mind, the valet diving meant that your gear was picked up at your room, that's it. Most dive operations already just do that and then return your "cleaned" gear back to your room. It is my opinion that Brac Reef Divers is not a destination for discerning divers that want to fully enjoy their diving experience under safe diving conditions. Management needs to review their dive operations and policies.

Room Tip: Loved our room on the upper floor with our balcony facing the ocean. The airport noise was negligib...

We just spend a week here on a week long dive package with our dive club. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The food was really good and plenty of it. There were evening activities and the staff is friendly and eager to please. I would come back here anytime! See the diving group was top notch, but I will reserve that for the review of the Reef Divers on this trip advisor site.

Room Tip: I would have like a frig in our room.

First let me state, this is our third time on the Brac, staying with Brac Reef Resort and diving with Reef Divers II. Obviously, we love it!! Easy living, easy relaxing, easy diving....exactly what we want in a vacation!

We chose the package that has 3 meals, 3 drinks, and 3 dives daily. The food is excellent. Breakfast has a little of everything, including cooked to order omelets if you want them. Lunch always had salads and multiple choices for entrees plus dessert! Dinner, pretty much the same with crazy good soups and multiple choices including sea food, pasta, chicken, etc.

The best part of this resort is the people who work there. We are always amazed that they remember our names and always offer a friendly smile!

Special kudos go to the crew of Ocean Sister, Helen and BJ! On a boat with a mixed group, they were always patient and kind and above all, professional. We had a few days with heavy swell and on multiple occasions, we had mooring lines break. One of these times, there were divers in the water. Thankfully, we had excellent briefings and an incredibly competent crew. The Department of the Environment needs to address many of the mooring buoys before the lose them!

We love diving with Reef Divers as they always have a dive master in the water if you wish to follow them. We usually go out on our own, but navigation is very easy with the detailed dive briefings and drawings before each dive.

This is a great value for the money. And obviously they treat us well as we can't help but go back!
