“A lovely cottage in an unusual setting -quite delightful”
Reviewed 26 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

We stayed a total of eight days in this quirky, and delightful cottage. We loved having the pool and jacuzzi area to ourselves in the evenings. It was enchantingly lit up at night, and has a fabulous view of Basse Terre harbour.
During the day, the gardens and pool are open to the public, but the upstairs cottage is secluded, with a lovely large balcony, cooled by the sea breeze means you are not disturbed.
The food in the restaurant is very good, and then staff welcoming, very friendly and professional.
The only downsides were mosquitios (some of the mosquito blinds were damaged), but there was an effective net over the bed, and spray was provided; the bedroon was quite dark for reading, but these were minor irritants.
Overall we would highly recommend this cottage.

Thank you for your kind words; we and our staff loved to have you as our guests, and will be happy to have you back with us at any time.
Regarding the two clip on reading lamps on the bed head. They have unfortunately just stopped working shortly before your arrival, and new ones were ordered online immediately. But like with everything, it takes quite some time to get things down from the US on island.
Regarding the mosquito nets I'm very surprised, that you say they were damaged. After back checking with our guest relation officer Shakila and our house keeping lady Carol, the screens merely came out of the guiding track on the side of the window, which can happen, if they are pulled down either too quickly and/or in a slight angle. After you spoke to Shakila, she and our maintenance man came right after, and the screens were pushed back in their track.
For the inclined reader of my (the owner's) response, I'd like to mention, that in the Caribbean mosquitos can show up throughout the whole year, depending on rainfalls, all over the island. Therefore screen doors are installed in the front of the apartment, and we make sure, that the window screens are always in order upon arrival of a new guest. But after check-in, it is in the responsibility of our guests to close the screen doors at all times, and do pull down the roll-down screens on the windows carefully. Due to Carol, our house keeper, it obviously happens quite often, that she meets the screen and glass door wide open, when she's arriving for cleaning. This just as a tip for our future guests, to be aware, of how to keep mosquitos on the outside of the apartment.

“"Slice of Heaven"”
Reviewed 30 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This cottage is amazing! Not only is it beautiful on the outside, but the inside is incredible. Stayed for 8 nights and could not have been happier. The cottage is located within a garden and features a pool. During the day there are daily guests that use the pool and visit the restaurant on the property. The cottage is on the second floor and we were never bothered by the guests or noise utilizing the pool. We spent most of the day away and after 5PM the entire place is your private oasis-we loved it. The staff: Joy, Ticoya, and Carol were wonderful A+++. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the food and portions were generous. The interior of the cottage features a full stocked kitchen (we grocery shopped for some meals) and large dining table for enjoying meals (we ate most of our meals on the table outside on the deck). The walk in shower is all stone and the overall decor is caribbean and cottage chic which was wonderful. The master suite is large and the bed was comfortable. The view from the deck was so relaxing and beautiful every day to see the cruise ships, catamarans and ferry passing thru the waters. If I travel back to St Kitts I would stay here again!

“A marvelous getaway, relaxing location”

We had had 2 weeks of running around cities in America and wanted a week's relaxation before we went home. This place was perfect for that. We were welcomed by staff on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We had the top floor apartment which I think is the better one giving views across the pool and on to the harbour. We were there out of season when it was about 31 degrees and a constant wind. There is air conditioning in the bedroom but as the windows are constantly open to allow the wind to blow through and cool, we sometimes didn't feel the benefit, until we left the room and realised how warm it was in the rest of the apartment. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean by the staff. The grounds were open to public during the day but from 5pm we had the place to ourselves. The apartment is much more than your basic rental giving the ability, should you wish to do so, in cooking and eating at the apartment, however, the food from the restaurant was faultless, good food, cooked well, whatever the choice. The pool was kept clean and was very inviting. The bottom line is would we stay here again and yes we would. Congratulations to Claudia and Ernest who have created a little oasis of calm and thank you to the staff who made our holiday more memorable.

“Peaceful”
Reviewed 3 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

I was totally impressed with the decor of the cottage. The ambiance and natural beauty of the surroundings was mind-blowing …What a gem!!
The cottage was fully equipped with utensils and towels and certainly suitable as “a home away from home.”
The breeze coming off the sea to the veranda was so tranquilizing that I felt myself nodding off. I am usually a very alert person lol….
The staff was super helpful and attentive. I would definitely stay there again. Everyone should pamper his or herself with this awesome experience!

A special thanks to Claudia for her invaluable tips and help in making this trip an enjoyable and picture-perfect experience for me!!

“Best Place on St. Kitts”

This vacation rental GREATLY EXCEEDED my expectations! First of all, it was located in a perfect location. It was a five minute or so drive from the airport and a short drive from all of the best beaches on the island/car ferry to Nevis. The view from the pool and hot tub is incredible! You can see the tip of the island where all of the good beaches are and also Nevis in the distance (within my photo, it's the hilly area in the distance without houses visible). Straight ahead is Port Zante where the cruise ships dock. It was fun watching the cruise ship come and go throughout the week. There is great duty-free shopping at Port Zante and that's only a few minutes away by car. There is also a grocery store in the same area and we stocked up on bottled water, snacks and other beverages there. We ate at Palm Court Gardens the first night but there are also a few other restaurants a few hundred feet away from this rental. The check-in/checkout process could not have been easier. Claudia was an excellent communicator and the property was exactly as advertised. Although we spent every day exploring the island and beaches, this would be a great place to just hangout in the pool and enjoy drinks from the poolside bar. All staff were super friendly and hospitable. They even raised our country's flag above the villa and brought us a basket of delicious fresh fruit. It is worth noting that the pool and garden areas are open to paid guests during the day but the nights were completely private, except for the last night when they had a formal dinner party beside the pool area. The only days we encountered others in the pool were on cruise ship days and those guests were off of the property before 5:00. It was great because we were able to enjoy the pool privately, before heading out for dinner. One small gripe was the road noise behind the villa. It wasn't a busy road but we did hear a few cars throughout the night. Had it not been for that, it would have only been tree frogs and other nature noises. There was an air conditioner and fans in the bedroom and it was a very comfortable temperature for sleeping. The bed was super comfortable and the TV was HUGE! The WiFi Internet was super slow and unreliable but it did "get the job done," for the minimal amount of Internet usage that we performed during the evening. Although we didn't cook any meals, it was nice having a kitchen. The refrigerator was small but worked well to keep our drinks cold. The shower was very nice and we encountered no issues with water pressure. The deck was incredible and offered incredible views! This was our first time on St. Kitts and I can honestly say that this was the perfect place to stay! It was close enough to everything to make the drive to and from relaxing but far enough away to feel private. Aside from dinner at Sprat Net and Brimstone Hill Fortress, our daily adventures took us to the part of the island that you can see within my photo in the distance (hills with no houses visible). I highly recommend visiting Reggae Beach (best swimming spot IMO) and Shipwreck on that part of the island. Both have excellent food and drinks that are reasonably priced. Spice Mill restaurant there is a must-do as well for an excellent dinner. Feel free to check out my IrixGuy YouTube channel for my St. Kitts travel videos and feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions. I'd definitely stay at this rental again without hesitation and I do recommend a rental car if you plan to explore the island. We had a great experience with Bullseye Car Rental and they picked us up at the airport with the car/returned us to the airport in the car for our departure.

We stayed at the guesthouse for three nights and had an amazing time. The ocean view from the balcony is breathtaking (probably the best view in St Kitts outside Bromstone Hill Fortress.
The place itself is well decorated and with all amenities you need.
You will be able to enjoy the great infinity pool as well as the botanic garden that is well taken care of.
Claudia and the "girls" will take care of your stay so you can put your mind at ease and enjoy !
