We have been dining here for years. Imagine a South Pacific-inspired thatched pavilion with views to the sea. Gary Colt, the owner, is a real professional restauranteur. Chef Steve has a wonderful touch with local ingredients, lovely spicing. The wine cellar (which you can visit) is the best on Nevis. Some wines, are, of course, pricey. On an island where many foods are imported, the prices here are competitive, considering this is thoughtful gourmet food. At our last meal, we had Steve's lobster cake and his pumpkin soup. Both were ridiculously good. We also love to start with the runny raw milk French camembert infused with Calvados, shared by the table. The seafood is wonderful, some hints of Creole. The service, by lovely Nevisian ladies, is professional but so friendly, always a smile. The barman is terrific, helpful. I wish their rum punch were a bit more inspired - this IS Nevis, after all!
