Our family of 7 went to the West Indian buffet last night and had a wonderful time. We had been earlier in the day and seen them preparing the hog for the roast. The kitchen staff were incredibly friendly and explained the preparation process to us in great detail. We had probably the best rum punch on the Island, followed by an amazing fish soup and then a choice of probably 20 dishes from the buffet. We especially liked the beets with ginger, johnny cakes, pumpkin stuffed with pumpkin, curried chick peas oh and of course the hog! Great service, amazing ambience and a real must do for anyone visiting the Island.

Nice restaurant and nice owners. the stqff is a bit slow and the food is nothing special.
We think the rum punch is the best around and the old building is great to see but don' tgo expecting great food.

Great historical location, it is like stepping back in time. Fantastic gardens and views, Our waitress, Ritsa was so helpful, kind and so friendly that even without the wonderful food she would have made our visit, we will definitely stay there for a night or two next visit to Nevis.
The breakfast was huge and unique, fresh fruits, homemade ginger & carrot cake, a bowl of homemade muesli with a bowl of homemade yogurt, fresh juices, we had soursop and a golden apple, wonderful eggs on black beans, bacon & onions, homemade sausages cooked with green peppers and onion. My partner was a little more conservative having perfectly poached eggs, fresh spinach, grilled tomatoes with homemade toasted bread. we both had Homemade jam and toast to finish and a pots of English breakfast tea and fresh coffee. What a way to start the day, we didn't eat until teatime.

Shortly after arrival at the Four Seasons, we jumped in a taxi to head over for the Hermitage's weekly West Indian buffet. We were so happy that we did! Not only was it fun to sit around the common areas of the inn enjoying drinks, the food was incredible. The meal began with a fish soup that was seasoned perfectly and a great way to start things off. As for the buffet, there were something like 20 dishes out and you can tell the staff is quite proud of what they put out and they should be. I do not think there was anything set out that we did not like. We certainly went back for seconds. The bread pudding for dessert was quite delicious as well, and I don't typically like bread pudding! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and left contentedly full. Hats off to the chef.

If you're on the island on Wednesday, you simply must include this on your itinerary.
