My wife and I (then fiance) traveled to Four Seasons Resort Nevis in January of 2006 for a week. This was our pre-wedding trip and we had an excellent time. We stayed in an ocean view room which was lovely, we dined mostly at the resort (although we went off resort for at least 2 nights) which was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. I remember our fishing trip was not abundant, but it was still fun. We plan to visit in the future.

Property was great and views were spectacular. Service level was slow and hard to come by. Simply refilling waters and coffees were not done because the staff were socializing every morning we were there.

I never reviewed this hotel 14 years ago when we had our honeymoon however now want to share what an amazing place this was. 5 stars luxury all the way. We had a beautiful suite facing the ocean; a beautiful upgrade considering we were staying 14 ngts. Our total check-out after the 14 days was not that bad considering how much we ate, drank, use of spa services and everything else that you could possibly charge onto your hotel room. They picked us up from St. Kitts airport in a private speedboat. They served us a delicious rum punch which too this day I have never had anything so delicious in mu life. You think it tastes like fruit juice but that drink packed a punch!!! For the past 14 years we have traveled extensively staying at many Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts because of the awesome service and experience we had at this property.

Service and staff very well trained and attentive to guests. Very friendly. The room was not up to the Four Season's standard- mold around the shower door edges and broken hardware should be attended to.

We recently had the great pleasure of staying at this resort for a short family holiday, with our boys aged 18 and 14.

We all loved the FS Nevis. It’s an attractive and large property, with buildings scattered across a number of acres, which are well landscaped and tended but I think it’s the service which really makes this place stand shoulder to shoulder with the very best of Caribbean resorts (e.g. RC Grand Cayman and Sandy Lane). Service was universally of a very high standard, yet still warm, friendly and totally consistent. We were in great hands as soon as we arrived at St Kitts airport and felt totally cosseted and cared for from start to finish.

The resort is also extremely well-maintained - no scuffs on walls anywhere, excellent chamber services (they ask you when you want your room cleaned and turndown each day and they stick to the timetable). A chipped tile we noticed on an external stairway was replaced and fixed within a day. Room service breakfast early one morning was entirely correct and delivered at precisely the time requested.

We had a Plantation Suite which was well appointed and comfortable with a double room adjoining. Usual excellent FS bathrooms with plenty of storage space.

I would imagine the resort must have been close to full occupancy as it was late March when we stayed there but it’s so large that nowhere seems too busy – including the pools.

The beach is fine, although not an especially pretty one, but the sea was a good temperature and the boys enjoyed the various activities available including paddle boarding and jet skiing.
For any very active holiday-goers, we'd also recommend a climb to Nevis Peak - it's a real scramble but a good challenge to achieve. The hotel doesn't offer the climb itself but can provide names of guides to take you up.
We also enjoyed the guided golf buggy drive around the property late one afternoon, when we got to see some of the lucky green monkeys that live up there!

The food is good quality. We especially enjoyed dinner at Mangoes (plus great rum punches!) and poolside lunches were also surprisingly tasty. We also liked the ice cream station – this proved very popular with many guests – not all children either!

Would highly recommend.

Wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary without our four kids at this resort after thorough research of the caribbean. This hotel was everything and more than the awesome reviews we read. The signature aspect as other reviews said is the exquisite service. You know you are in a hotel that cares about service when you ask for directions and instead of pointing they walk you to where you are going. The hotel itself was classically beautiful at the base of a lush volcano and right on a pristine stretch of beach. Pool and beach were well maintained and service extended there with frequent waters, snacks and towels. Tennis courts were in great shape with cool water, gatorade and peppermint cooling towels at the ready. Golf course was filled with great views, memorable holes and a few monkeys. Restaurants were culinary delights as well as great for fun cocktails and bar food if desired. Service started when we hit the airport in St Kitts and ended when we returned. We have stayed at some great Four Seasons and this is Top 3.

Room Tip: Rooms near the tennis courts are nice for peace and quiet and proximity to lodge and sports. Rooms n...

We enjoyed our vacation at this property. I spent most of my time at the adult pool since it didn't allow children and I wanted the peace and quiet. I wish they had an adults only hot tub. The only hot tub was by another pool. The rooms were spacious. Large nice bathrooms. Our room overlooked the golf course. The gym was great with lots of equipment. The on property food was not great. We ate off property except one night. Driving on the island is quite the adventure with roads being a very generous word to describe some of the paths to the restaurants! The island is small with not much to do so this is a sit and relax vacation. It did rain every day for 10 min so be prepared for that to happen. The monkeys are cute. You have to hike around the golf course to find them but fun to see. Staff was super friendly and always willing to help out.
