This is a brand new resort, which is still being built. The building work is at a stage where noise and dust is not an issue. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in overlooked a well planted garden with an interesting landscaped pool in the centre. On the north side of the garden pool area is The Yachtsman Grill and then a very empty beach - bliss.
Pat is the resort Manager, and was very helpful and kind during our stay. She has been in the biz for many years on Nevis, and can sort out anything for you.
We traveled around Nevis on the local buses, which cost between 2 to 4 EC$'s depending on distance. The locals on Nevis are exceptionally friendly, and would stop and offer us lifts if they found us walking down the road.
There are great supermarkets on the island so buying food is easy, and we also used Manzi's( I think) local farm shop a short walk up the beach.
Cafe des Arts in Castletown is a charming venue for an English breakfast, and The old plantation house and beautiful gardens at Golden Rock must be visited for a leisurly lunch as well as the Montpelier Plantation. If you want a Sunday roast go to the Galliput.
