This place is just wonderful. Remember the first day when Becca opened the little gate and we made our way through the gardens to the cottage. Without words...the views, the gardens, etc. You're really feel that this must be paradise. Becca & Michael are great hosts. Always there when needed but keep your privacy as well. We loved just to relax on the deck, have a drink, watch the gardens (Iguanas) and the neighboring islands. LIMING at it's best! Oh..and the bread - it's so you jummie. Travelled a lot of places in the caribbean but this place is outstanding.
Thanks a lot for sharing this slice of paradise with us.
Hope we will be back one day;)

We stayed five nights in this charming little cottage. This place is so very well kept, so cosy and so lovingly furnished that we found it hard to leave.
The house is tucked away on a hill and there is always such a nice breeze. So sitting on the veranda watching the sea or lying in the hammock is just bliss. The outdoor shower is great fun since now and again the little humming birds join you to get something to drink.
The kitchen is well equipped so it's really no problem to prepare anything you want to eat.
We also had a lot of fun with the green iguanas living in the big trees just a stone’s throw from the cottage.
Becca, our host, is a real gem ! She is so helpful and friendly ! She really did everything to make our stay on Carriacou as pleasant as possible. Even during the months before we arrived she helped us organizing things like boat tours, car rental, etc..Her muffins are gorgeous ! Thank you again for everything, Becca ! Here is a big hug and we hope to be back soon !
We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights in Becca and Michael's delightful cottage. It is extremely well designed and equipped, the views from the deck are stunning, there is always a breeze and it is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of colourful tropical plants. The mobile phone Becca lent us was very useful and we easily hired a jeep for two of our three days so we could explore the island. We had excellent meals at the Lazy Turtle pizzeria and Bogle's Round House and also loved Patti's Deli and the Kayak Kafe in Hillsborough. On the third day we did almost nothing! We never expect to return to any holiday locations, but this cottage is so delightful we could well return for another relaxing visit. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cottage! Amazing view, peaceful isolation, and a bright, open design made this the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. Beca was great - very helpful and supplied us with delicious baked goods. We'll be back!
Our stay in Carriacou was great. Becca's cottage is wonderful. She met us at the dock when we got off the ferry, helped us arrange our car rental, showed us around town, and then helped us find the cottage. The cottage itself is perfect and incredible, it has everything you need. Becca provides you with a local cell phone, which was very handy and helpful. The bed is quite comfortable. The porch is amazing, and the view from the porch is incredible. Very relaxing. Becca even brought us delicious homemade muffins! We definitely plan on returning to Carriacou, and will certainly be staying at the cottage when we return.
Love the spot and thoughtfulness of the hosts, every detail considered
Nestled near the top of a well secluded valley, with beautiful views to the coast and beyond to the islands
Macaws and iguanas are great co-hosts too
Carriacou human residents are kind and friendly, casual and interesting
Having stayed in a big variety of accommodations throughout the world, this little gem-beach cottage provides a unique and amazing experience
...and hopefully it will be available the next time we'd like to visit!
Though Geoff and I had seen photos of the cottage on the website, my breath was taken away when I actually saw it in its surroundings! It was absolutely perfect for us - quiet (no sound or sight of traffic), airy (actually quite windy when we were there!), just the right size, and with everything we needed for a restful holiday. Beautifully designed and decorated. The solar-heated water was hot enough for a shower midday (daring, being in the open, but secluded). I was impressed by rainwater being the source for cooking and drinking.
Our hosts were most helpful - just right - friendly without being intrusive.
I loved seeing the sun rise over the perfect view - an opening in the thick forest down to the beach and sea, with other islands in the distance. A week was not long enough!
