“For althentic Trinidadian food”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

I could have eat there every day. There was so much choice in the different vendors preparing and cooking traditional food of the island. I think red snapper, breadfruit, rice and coconut bread where my favourite.

Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

Had bake and salt fish with bitter melon sautéed with onions first day. The second both on left when you coming from main entrance. Also had the guava juice from MR no personality at the last booth on the left, second day had coco fry fish and Callao from first booth on right everything was good. Wife had stew chicken son had fries and fish.
The best local African dishes.

“Local flavor at the port”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

Frye Bake n Smoke Herring was excellent. Separate vendors selling many things, freshly blended Paw Paw (papaya) juice was great! Watching people coming off water taxis while enjoying local flavors was fun.

“Food You Will Eat In the Average Afro-Trinidadian's Home”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Provisions (Dasheen, eddoes, cassava, plantain, etc.), stew fish, callaloo, coo coo, cow heel soup, ox tail soup, bake and smoke herring, pelau (rice and peas with chicken and/or beef) and fish broth are just some of the authentic Trini dishes you will get here. If you want to taste the food that the average Afro-Trinidadian cooks at home, this eating establishment is where you go.
