I didn't know there was such a diversity of mot mots! There are three cute dogs also. And the owners are very nice. The place is well taken care of. It's just US$5 per person and you can stay as long as you like, very relaxing.

Fantastic place to see lots of hummingbirds zooming around your head. You can nearly touch them! More impressive than Asa Wright on Trinidad!

Love this place - we were there as part of a tour with Peter Cox - Hummingbirds are fed on a line of feeders and you can get so close to them and never get bored of watching them. If you go just before dusk you get to see the birds and then the bats come out to play! you get so close you can see their eyes - take a video camera to capture it all. There are also gardens a to walk round, with other birds and bugs to see.

This quirky little place I found completely by accident. There's a nominal entrance fee (10 TT, I think?). It was a bit of a rainy day, so I didn't want to risk a hike on the muddy, hilly trails, so I pretty much just hung out at the main house, where they have a long string of hummingbird feeders. The air was full of the sound of tiny frenetic wings...it sounded like a miniature airport! I must have seen a dozen different varieties in an hour there. They have a couple nice-looking and very reasonable guest rooms there, too.

A nice place to watch and photograph hummingbirds..... the kids enjoyed watching the birds respond to the "feeding" bell.

There are some nice villas available to accommodate more serious birders.
