“Enjoyable”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Good signage to the falls, which are about 45 mins outside of Scarborough. Some decent albeit not breathtaking coastal views along the way. Entrance fee is US$10/TT$60 for adults and about US$4/TT$25 for children 12 and under. Wellingtons are available for rental for about US$3/TT$20. Sneakers or water shoes are sensible although we managed in flip flops. An easy 10/15 min walk through the rainforest and along the river bank gets you to the falls. The pool below is 18ft deep!

Quite pretty falls, one of the better ones if comparing the more well known falls of the small islands of the Eastern Caribbean, Dominica excepted. Would recommend for nature lovers.

Not ideal to visit if there have been heavy rains as the falls are laden with sediment and the trek to the higher levels of the falls are slippery and treacherous.

There is a small snack bar on site and bathrooms with a shower stall. Apparently, basic lodging is also available on the upper level.

As other reviewers have warned, avoid persons who approach you as you turn off the main road into the Falls. Use a guide on site, particularly if you intend to trek to higher levels of the Falls.

“Awesome”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

So, the drive is about 40 minutes from the airport area, but be very careful it can be a dangerous drive as the roads are very narrow. But visiting this waterfall is worth it. When you arrive at the entrance you will be greeted by guys trying to hustle you claiming to be tour guides, just pass them straight and go on in to the parking lot. You don't need a tour guide as the trail is safe and very easy to follow. Make sure you wear sneakers for the hike which is about 20 minutes. Head up to the third level and prepare to be amazed at its beauty.

“Lovely falls”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

I'm so happy we took the guided walk because she showed us so many interesting things. We didn't go way up to the top of the falls but many of the young people climbed their way up the hill and the rocks to get a wet view. We were happy watching the great view from the bottom.
