This was one of the stops on our tour of the island. Although the museum is small it covers the history very well and is definitely worth visiting.

National museums don't come much smaller than this however its size doesn't stop it from being interesting . I paticuarly liked the display on Grand Turks involvement in John Glen's space mission.
other dispaly tell the story of the areas indigenous peoples and shipwrecks in the area.
this is backed up by a very passionate staff.
well worth five dollars

Every place has an interesting background. Not knowing much about Grand Turk, we decided to tour the National Museum. It was very interesting learning about the islands. I learned a whole lot about the people, history, and salt industry that kept the islands booming.

Went on a tour of the island and visit to the museum. Quite a small attraction, the tour guide at the museum was quite passionate about the history of the island providing a great summary of the various wrecks and such. The museum itself was not large, so it did not take long to complete the tour, however it was enriched in the islands history, making it quite interesting and informative.

The museum is small but big for Grand Turk. They have information about the ship wreck.Which is presented very well. This has very recent information about the island as earliar history is wiped out.Its cheap and takes about 30 mts to view.
