This was our second trip to Turks and Caicos. Walking into the resort is just as beautiful as the pictures. As you walk through reception and see the pool you know you have made the right choice. We rented the Grand Calabash suite which is a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the ocean and balconies overlooking the pool. The room was immaculate and very large. The deck overlooking the ocean was large enough to have a couch and a table for 4 with room left over. The landscaping at the resort was gorgeous and immaculately maintained. If you are looking for crowds or allot of activity this resort is not for you. The resort never seems crowded and several times we had the huge pool all to ourselves. The resort staff was wonderful and always kept the grounds spotless. The location is perfect. Being right next to the regent village puts everything you need within a short walk. I cannot say enough about the Regent Grand and their staff. Make sure to visit the pool bar.

Went to Grace Bay Beach in Provo, Turks and Caicos last week and stayed at the Regent Grand.
Had a wonderful 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and ocean view. Most of the "hotels" here are not full service hotels. They are condos that are rented by the owners.

So while the room, pool and beach were wonderful, they don't have much in the way of normal hotel services. Ended up spending about $1000 a night.......I will certainly look for something less expensive next time.

Wonderful market nearby for cooking "at home"!

Room Tip: If you are going to spend this kind of money, go for an ocean view room!

Dear Guitarman. Thank you for your review, we very much appreciate you spending the time to do this. I was a little concerned to read that you did not consider The Regent Grand a full service hotel. We advertise as a luxury boutique property, and believe that we provide all normal hotel services. I would be grateful if you can contact me so that I can find out what you believe was missing. Many thanks, Paul Slattery, General Manager

Just returned from a wonderful ten days at the Regent Grand. This was our third straight year there (we also visited the Providenciales in 1991, but that is a whole other story). Our stay, as always, was joyous. The staff at the Regent Grand are amongst the friendliest folks anywhere. The accommodations remain stupendous. We have stayed in the same two bedroom suite with a gorgeous ocean view each year. No reason to tamper with success. We also enjoy all the restaurants within walking distance. We do not rent a car and only use a cab to get to and from the airport and to and from the grocery store. We come to relax and that is exactly what we do. We wish to thank everyone at the Regent Grand for their kindness, and their amazingly attentive service. We now enjoy coming back each year not just for the beauty, not just for the beach, or the gorgeous pool, not just to get away, but to renew our acquaintance with all the great people at the Regent Grand.

Let me add one thing. When we visited in 1991 there was virtually nothing there but the beautiful beach. We knew that would change and it has. The good news is that the changes have been tasteful and the beauty has not been lost.

Oh yes, there is always one "bad" day. The day you leave, June 1 this year.

Room Tip: For ocean view, the higher the better.

Fantastic trip for my wife and I to Provo, staying at the Regent Grand. This is an oceanfront condo resort that resembles a hotel, with a very helpful and active concierge desk and a pool bar that delivers to the pool and beach.

The concierge desk is very unique, handling check-in and check-out (there is no other front desk staff) as well as dinner and activity recommendations and reservations. They even will set up taxis for your reservation (without being asked)-----"your dinner reservation is set for 730 pm, a cab will be here at 715."

There is no on-site eatery, you cross a courtyard to Vix, an open air small and friendly restaurant where your included breakfast is served. We also had lunch there and enjoyed the food and service. The food in general on Provo was outstanding. All meals were outside and there are several beachfront restaurants at varous hotels and resorts. There is also an amazing (for a Caribbean island) gourmet grocery store a few blocks away that could pass for a high end store in our hometown.

The Regent Grand rooms include WIFI and have various sizes and locations relative to the beach and pool. CATV has many US channels.

This was a very relaxing trip. We look forward to returning soon!

My husband and I just got back from a 7 night stay at the Regent Grand and I cannot express how amazing our trip was. This was our first time to Turks and Caicos and we decided to stay at the Regent Grand based solely on the great reviews we saw on Trip Advisor. The hotel, the grounds, pool, beach, the service - everything was amazing and far exceeded our expectations.

The service was outstanding, the staff so friendly and attentive. We split the week between the beach and the pool and there are always more than enough beach and pool loungers that you get your pick no matter the time of day. During the day whether you're at the beach or pool the staff come around fairly frequently asking if you want a drink. We got pina coladas every day.

There is a bar by the pool that is open all day you can get beer, wine, pina coladas, cocktails. You can also order your lunch here - the food was great (more casual fare), fast, fresh, so much so that we ate lunch here every day except two.

The infinity pool was lovely. Very large with lots of shallow areas and 2 deep areas. The pool was never that occupied and when it was people would just lounge around and keep to themselves. The other guests were quiet and relaxed so we often felt we had the whole place to ourselves even though I think the hotel was fairly full.

Breakfast was included which was great, fresh food and good service. You get coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and can choose eggs, bacon, sausage, roast mushrooms, roast tomato, juice, fruit, yogurt, etc...

I would highly recommend Regent Grand, it was BY FAR the nicest hotel in Grace Bay as we had lunch/dinner at a few other hotels during our stay and we were glad we stayed where we did.

Room Tip: Prefer a high floor.

Every employee seemed to love their job which meant everyone was so friendly. Thank you Tiffany, Narada, michael, jojo, pd, Joan (at vix) and the rest of the staff for making us feel right at home. If we needed anything, we only to ask and it was done with a smile. Our condo was the biggest surprise as it was even nicer than we were expecting. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bonus of the media room meant our son and daughter didn't have to share a room. We met a family who has been coming twice a year for 6 years and I see why. The perfect resort on the most amazing beach with crystal clear waters. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

My family of 4 stayed in a 2-bedroom condo with a beach-front view. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk.

Beautiful beach and the condo was perfect. The whole facility is extremely well-managed, and the staff could not be friendlier. Our concierge, Tiffany, was extremely helpful with arranging cabs, booking snorkel trips, and making restaurant reservations. She truly made our trip spectacular; she even gave us hugs as we departed for the airport.

Location is SUPERB. The resort is centrally located to everything, so it easy to walk or ride bikes to restaurants or to the grocery store. You can even walk on the beach to most restaurants, such a Hemingway's. Try their Fish Tacos and Conch Fingers. Delicious.

Hope you make the right decision and pick Regent Grand. Cause we are DEFINITELY coming back.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the beach. The view is out of this world.
