Stayed a week in March with the kids. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom condo. Very clean and modern. Quiet hotel and beach area. Much more peaceful than at the very crowded Beaches down the same beach. Took advantage of the free kayaks, surf boards and snorkel equipment the hotel had. Water is warm and great for swimming. The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk down the beach to the Corral gardens area where you can snorkel around the reef.
Only complaint might be the free breakfast. Food is ok but service could be better. Seemed to be a shortage of waiters for the breakfast. Not enough tables, and took a while for them to clear away from the previous people at tables.

Excellent example of th condo-hotel concept. Laid back environment with great attributes: 1.) location at the quieter end of Grace Bay...2.) new feeling even though its three years old....3.) comfortable size overall as number of people do not overwhelm the facilities or beach...4.) good kitchen serving meals throughout the day and lastly 5.) well appointed and maintained condos...large bathrooms, new stainless appliance, etc.

Overall, wonderful place to stay!! Very clean rooms. We stayed in a studio and it was more than big enough for the week. The small kitchen area was useful for snacks and drinks. We went to Graceway Gourmet for food, which was the higher end grocery store there (it is across from Seven Stars resort). Bathroom is nice and new, but there was only a shower in the studio, no tub. Housekeeping was great. There is nice flat screen TV and DVD player in the room.

Grace bay is beautiful beach and I think that West Bay Club has one of the nicest beaches of all the hotels in the area. Some of the hotels do not have a lot of beach - the water comes almost all the way up to the hotel area; however, West Bay Club has a larger beach area with plenty of room for chairs and umbrellas without feeling crowded. Beach attendants were the most welcoming staff at the resort. They will teach you how to use the beach equipment and will even take you out on the Hobbie Cat if you want.

Complimentary breakfast was ok, nothing special, but it was nice that it was included and we had this every morning. The on site restaurant has good basic food. We ate here almost everyday for lunch. My favorite was the fish sandwich. We went for dinner most nights. Here are our suggestions for restaurants...

Coco Bistro - This place had good food, service and atmosphere. Must go here.
Hemmingways - Good food and somewhat less expensive than the other restaurants. This is at The Sands.
Bagatelle - Good food, convenient location as it is next door to West Bay Club. Great service. We ate here 3 times during our 9 day stay.
Coyaba - This was the only restaurant that we were disappointed with - it was very expensive and the portions are small. The service was also lacking. Still, not terrible.
Somewhere Cafe - 5 minute walk from West Bay Club. Casual dining. Good fish tacos.
Mango Reef - Great service and larger portions. Right on the beach.

We are already planning our return trip for next year. Would definitely stay at West Bay Club again. We liked that it was a smaller resort and that it was very clean. Managers are on site and have a presence. The weekly managers happy hour was fun (Wednesday I think). The managers were very welcoming and friendly. Thank you also to Eduardo (beach attendant), Fuller (front desk) and Henry (restaurant) - you were all great!

The only complaint we had was that the front desk staff (with the exception of Fuller - he was great!) was not the best at helping us make reservations or answering most questions for that matter. The concierge was even less helpful than the other desk staff. It took 4 days (despite us asking every day) for them to confirm a reservation for us for a sunset cruise that we wanted to go on, but it ended up getting done and we were able to go. The sunset cruise through Provo Sail ended up being very fun and relaxing. Would recommend this as well.

Let me start by saying that our trip was wonderful and we’d likely go back to both Provo and WBC. Both were just beautiful. I feel somewhat torn with my reviews and ratings, however, because some aspects absolutely thrilled us while others were a little disappointing. I’ll apologize in advance for the lengthiness of this!

Our background: My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary a few months early. We had traveled to Anguilla for our 5th (stayed at Cuisinart) and absolutely loved it. We had planned to go back for our 10th, but decided to try somewhere new but similar... and all the TCI reviews compared the two islands closely (and we’d agree). Our vacation goal was to do nothing but RELAX! We're complete beach bums, so we just wanted beautiful scenery and great food – and those requests were thoroughly met.

The common areas at WBC seemed small to us at first glance, but they were truly perfect and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Grace Bay is beautiful, and WBC’s spread of beach does seem to be one of the best. While most people advise to rent a car, we did not simply because we weren't going to do much sightseeing and so we could have a few drinks with dinner while leaving the driving to someone else (we recommend Par for taxi service)! We stayed for seven nights in March in a Luxury 1 Bedroom. The room was huge and beautiful, with all the amenities others have described. Amazingly comfortable bed, pillows and towels, as well as nice furniture and closet space. And our requested snacks and bottles of water were awaiting us in our room when we arrived. (We were a little bummed to be given water instead of rum punch upon arrival at the front desk, but that’s certainly not a big deal.) I’m someone who loves getting massages, but as I brilliantly burnt my back early in the trip, I was only able to enjoy one at the on-site Spa Tropique – it was wonderful. Overall service quality at the resort was mixed. Some of the individuals at the front desk were a bit unfriendly, however, Renee (concierge) was very sweet and great with reservations. Henry and Daniel at the bar were fantastic... such nice guys with great personalities and warm smiles.

As for some of the slightly negative aspects…
- One of our two deck door screens was missing…?! We told the front desk about it and they came up to look as they very confused. Nothing was done about it until I asked again later in the week (Thursday). Later that day it suddenly reappeared -- but was placed backward in the track so it still didn't close properly! We had to guess that the screen was initially missing to be repaired for some reason, but shouldn’t someone have known about it for such a small hotel (we talked to 4 different people at the front desk)? We were just bummed that we couldn’t leave the deck doors open to listen to the ocean (I was worried about bug bites without a screen there).
- There weren't any soaps, shampoos or bathrobes in our room. We asked the front desk and were given the robes, some soap and two bottles of hair conditioner (but still no shampoo). We didn't want to again bring it up, so we never received any shampoo (I brought some from home anyway) and none of the soap was replenished.

While all the food we had off-site (and on-site) was fantastic, we were taken back by the prices… many of the reviews eluded to the restaurants being less pricey than those on Anguilla, and we experienced the opposite. Admittedly, we went to some of the nicest restaurants on the island and I’m sure we could’ve gone to some less expensive ones, but the prices were up there – especially with the additional taxes and service charges (some places included tips, some did not). As an overview…
- O’Soleil – Beautiful restaurant and good food, but the service was somewhat nonexistent.
- Anacaona – Overall outside setting is breathtaking (Grace Bay Club), but the service definitely lacked. Despite our reservations, we still waited a half hour for a table (when there were many available) and literally had to walk around to find someone to pay our bill. Meal was nice, but we felt the prices were too high for the service.
- Parallel 23 – WONDERFUL! Amazingly elegant, impeccable service and probably one of the best meals we’ve ever had. It’s located at the Regent Palms, which is an elegant hotel, as well, and has a romantic feel to it. Loved, loved, loved our meal.
- Coyoba – Known to be one of the best restaurants on the island, but we were a little let down. Same issue as before… food was very good but the service was disappointing and we felt very rushed.
- Hemingways – FANTASTIC! We had a great meal, very friendly staff, beautiful setting on the beach. Very relaxed, fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Coco Bistro – A perfect way to end our trip… This restaurant has a great reputation that it definitely lives up to. The scenery is beautiful – it’s like a patio/stone garden surrounded by (including overhead) huge palm trees. We had fantastic service and another great meal.

We visited all of the above restaurants for dinner… we ate lunch every day at WBC aside for two days when we ventured to “Somewhere...” and loved it! Great Mexican food in a great atmosphere and with a beautiful view and very reasonable prices.

Again, pardon the length! To those planning a trip to Provo – enjoy!

The condo was just gorgeous!!we could not have asked for anything more!having stayed at other properties on Grace Bay, I can honestly say West Bay Club is the best!!
the front desk staff Shakira and Cathy are pleasant and helpful.Renee is always willing to help!
The staff on the beach steal the accolades however. Charles, William, Eduardo go out of their way to make guests comfortable and encourage them to avail of the water sport opportunities.
The breakfast was adequate.I do not know how the negative reviews came about!

Wow. This place was amazing. We had a 2-bedroom suite with plenty of views of the ocean from our living room and kitchen. And we will never be the same! It was a beautiful week on Provo. Our room had a full kitchen, laundry (2 sets of WD in our suite in fact), and huge living area, and 2.5 bathrooms. Amazing. Room clean-up everyday by the housekeepers. Pool was beautiful. Beach was superb (for lounging, for small children, and for some snorkeling and shelling). This "boutique" resort seems heads and shoulders above some place like Beaches. But I assume it depends on your preferences while on vacay. There was a safe place to park our rental car, the concierge was helpful, the spa was nice, and the daily breakfast (included with the room) was good (order the eggs - it's included everyday even if that's not quite clear at the beginning). The service from the Atlantic Bar was pretty poor (timeliness) but always friendly. So that's not a deal breaker. We will come back. Thank you WBC!

We've just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay at the West Bay Club in Providenciales. We stayed in a 1 bdr luxury suite, and it was, indeed, luxurious. Spacious, comfortable, every window overlooking gorgeous turquoise waters. Full kitchen, not that we did alot of actual cooking, but we did use the blender for great drinks with the local rum, Bambarra. Bath and a half was nice, laundry in the unit meant we packed less clothes and did the whole trip with 1 carry on and a backpack. "Ensuite" bath in the bedroom was huge. Walk-in shower, enclosed WC, oversized tub and oversized sinks with granite vanity. They couldn't do enough for us. The minute you step onto the beach, the guys are right there with towels, chairs, umbrellas, whatever you need. We went March 4-11 and it was never crowded. Location is a plus, the West Bay is next door to the Gansevort and not much else. It was never crowded. Never. We did alot of almost nothing. Totally off the grid. No Verizon service on this part of the island (thankfully), we could check e mail but chose not to. Most of the resorts have their own "award winning" restaurants, but we didn't go for the food! We walked for miles on the beach, even saw a Provo Pony swimming! The IGA market is well stocked, we went once at the beginning of the trip for fruit and some lunch fixings. West Bay includes buffet breakfast with the room rate. Nothing special but it's one less thing to do for yourself. We loved Da Conch Shack and Horse Eye Jack's in Blue Hills and wound up doing take out (or "take away" as they call it) two of the nights. Sushi place at Saltmills is OK, but our local place in CT is better. Go for the ocean, the relaxation, and the uncrowded location. Pack lightly. We didn't need anything dressy. Anyone with long pants was overdressed. There were certainly lots of sundresses around, but I managed with blouse and capris for the one night we went to Magnolia. Food there was well prepared and presented, service was excellent as was the view. And, it was just in Turtle Cove, very close to West Bay Club.
