18 years ago we honeymooned at the Grace Bay Club, and we were thrilled to discover that the West Bay Club was a "sister hotel" to Grace Bay -- it sounded like the perfect place to return with our three children (ages 12, 9 and 7). Our expectations were more than surpassed and we're already dreaming of returning next year! Our hotel unit had breathtaking views from the spacious, well-appointed balconies and the 3-bedroom suite was modern, immaculate and more than enough room for our family of five. Mimeme and the other housekeepers did an incredible job and the nightly turn-down with slippers was always welcome to come home to! Dudleysha (who also helped coordinate groceries for us ahead of our arrival -- thanks again!), Asha, Kat and the other girls at the front desk were always helpful with dining reservations and the beach and pool staff made us feel like family. We happily overlapped with William, Sean, Charles, Wildly and Chaz during most of our beach time and everyone we came into contact with was fabulous! Chaz took my husband and me out on the catamaran for an incredible sail, and William even helped clean the kids' Conch shells from our snorkel outing*. At the beach bar, Steeve and James couldn't have been more friendly! Complimentary breakfast by the pool was a treat, and the waitresses and waiters spoiled us with any extra's. We also enjoyed chips by the pool one day and a delicious dinner at West Bay twice (once at the restaurant and once for room service). The West Bay Club was the perfect combination of quiet and opportunity for adventure. The combination of island charm and the amazingly accommodating staff made it a truly magical stay. Thank you West Bay!!! We miss you!!!! *Loved our day's snorkel/island adventure w/ Caicos Dream Tours! John and his wife and staff were fantastic to work with! They can pick you up right there off of the beach in front of West Bay Club -- a huge plus when doing a family outing like this!! Snorkeling right there off our beach or just down the way at Bight Beach was fantastic too!

Room Tip: Lots of privacy on the east side which was great, however you're not as sheltered from the wind...

This was our first trip to the Turks and Caicos and we were very pleased with the West Bay Club. The beach staff was very attentive and friendly with a variety of watersports and activities included. We stayed in a studio room, it was a bit small but it was fine for the two of us, we spent most of our time on the beach anyway. The breakfast which was included had a nice variety, however towards the end of our stay it got to be a little repetitive each morning. The only downfall would be the location in relation to other resorts and restaurants. We had to take a taxi everywhere which got to be a little $$, but once again the beach in front of the resort seemed much larger than others. Overall it was a great stay, and we plan on returning soon!

While staying at Beaches (about a 15 minute walk along the beach) my girlfriend and I walked down to the beach bar at the West Bay Club and it was the highlight of our vacation. The bartenders James and Steeve were really helpful with recommendations of places to go to experience the culture of the island once you're off the resort. We tried local style appetizers that weren't offered at our resort, and got to try the local rum, Bambarra, which also was not offered at Beaches. My only regret is that it was our last full day in Turks and Caicos, so we weren't able to visit again or try James' recommendations. If/when we go back I'll be stopping by the Conch Shack as James recommended and stopping by the West Bay Club to see James, Steeve and the friendly groundskeeper Wildy.

The west bay club was a great place to stay, very clean, amazing service from all the staff. From the front desk to the beach everyone went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Best of all was the food at the in house restaurant for dinner.
Joseph is a great talent as the head chef, his jerk chicken and ribs were some of the best me and my wife have ever had, as well as the lobster everything was cooked with love and passion.
The service staff was also very good and very attentive.

Usual resort/island hoppers from year to year we have found a home in the West Bay Club. Wishing we were still on the beach but beautiful memories to bring home. So much to rave about this hotel beach/rooms/etc. - the staff is amazing and makes everyday paradise!

Absolutely a stunning set-up with a wonderful men and very attentive staff. Truly a class act all around from service staff to concierge. I would recommend a beach dinner for any couple looking for an intimate, private, and class dinner. The communication between concierge and myself was top of the like and very prompt. I had a bump in the schedule and the West Bay Club was able to change my beach dinner reservation to three days later without a flaw. I am very thankful for the private dinner at West Bay Club and would recommend this to ANY couple looking for a unique dinner setting right on the fresh powdered sand and sound of the ocean right next to you and your special date. 5 stars!

My family of five (three boys ages 11, 9, and 7) just returned from a wonderful stay at the West Bay Club. We stayed in a two bedroom unit, which is a one bedroom and studio combined. Lots of space and ability to separate for those needing more rest. The room was spotless and well-appointed. We had some groceries delivered prior to our arrival which was awesome. We used oceanfront patio daily to play cards or eat lunch. Wifi in room (for just that room) was very, very good. Surround sound on entertainment system was awesome-- after a long day on beach, we often watched an old-school Disney movie (Nemo, Cars, Toy Story) and recalled how much the boys loved them as younger kids. Our only room complaint: the AC in larger unit was pretty noisy at night and worked hard to get to 72. Very minor issue.

Breakfast was great-- in addition to all the choices laid out, omelets and pancakes made to order. Kids were stuffed until well past noon even eating before 8-- hard with three boys.

Beach staff was very attentive and helpful. Jeffrey, Sean, and Charles were very accommodating. Sean took us for a sail, Jeffrey gave us great snorkel locations other than Coral Gardens (go early before Beaches folks arrive-- good first time snorkel for small folks). We took our own snorkel gear but they certainly had some to borrow. Charles set us up on the paddle boards-- 11 and 9 year olds got it immediately. Beach staff made sure kids had smoothies on the beach, towels and shade always taken care of. The beach staff does strongly suggest a snorkel off a boat with a slide--we saw the boat (not a huge party boat) but we had already set up a sail with Sail Beluga (outstanding). Two of my children loved the tubing from TWC, but as a motorized sport, it was not included and too pricey ($50/psn for 15 minutes).

This was our first trip out of the country with our children. TCI is very expensive-- know that going in, and let it go before you arrive. We are so glad we did NOT do an all-inclusive. This was just the right amount of activity for our kids, we rented a car and did off-site activities, and enjoyed the relative quiet at TWC. There were other families but it was not super busy. Able to relax!

Room Tip: Studios are small. One bedrooms huge in comparison.
