Good location -- nice condo-- but owner knew we needed 3 beds-- but when we got there, the couch did not open to a bed. The cot the management offered was horrible soft, so adult had to sleep on couch. However, condo was nice, with a great view. Beach in front was very narrow so at times had to lay with lounge chair on a slant-- not very comfortable.
Management was very nice and helpful.
No extra amenities-- just 2 small pools.

Location was great! Just walk out of your condo and down to the beach! Reefs were steps away and great to snorkel. Beautiful beach and the staff were excellent. If you go, say hi to Flo for me, She tries really hard to please, as does Matthew. Be sure you bring your own coffee and anything else you can snack on. The IGA has eggs for $5.00 a carton, for example. You will be in shock when you go to the grocery store.

We enjoyed room 4301 for 8 days last week. We had a wonderful time and have only praise for Coral Gardens, particularly the staff. Rikhul, Carolyn, Flo and Jerome were excellent in all respects. It is clear that each condo is different, some updated and bright, some not. The best aspect or 4301 is the view from the balcony. The unit is very large and has everything we needed. Room darkening shades or curtains in the bedroom would be nice and the view of the conrete incomplete hulk to the west detracts somewhat. The beach is excellent - not as wide as at other resorts and of course right on the besy snorkeling reef on Grace Bay. We enjoyed the music from Somewhere which was live most nights of the week.
There are many more fancy and expensive places on Provo, but Carol Garden worked for us.

We spent a delightful week in a lovely spacious suite. The fellow guests appeared to be solid folks and families from the MidWest and Canada. The staff was helpful with special kudos to Flo who went far out of her way to be sure we were happy with our accommodations. There are many fancier places on the island but the staff, the proximity to the beach and the relaxed atmosphere insure that we will be back soon with our grandchildren in tow. We loved it

Just ok is my overall review of Coral Gardens 2202. The unit was clean but was in need of updating badly, especially the bathrooms. In the shower, tile was falling off the wall. Sheer curtains in the bedroom with lots of lights outside made it hard to sleep. One big downside was the restaurant .......it was very noisy at night. But they did quiet down by 10pm. Everyone we dealt with though was super nice. Both Jerome's were always helpful with whatever we needed. The superior snorkeling spot was very disappointing. It was average at best.

My husband and I booked this trip before fully comprehending how expensive T&C is. Because $450/night tied for the most WE had ever paid for a hotel, it had to be really nice, right?

The good:
- Everyone we dealt with there was responsive and friendly.
- They give you a phone that you can pre-pay in $10 increments. Ours had $2 left over from the previous guest and that was enough for us to call cabs and such for the 4-night stay.
- The kitchen had all new appliances, including a dishwasher and toaster. It more than met our needs, we cooked breakfast in every day.
- The balcony is spacious, we spent a lot of time out there (enjoyment slightly offset but the monstrosity next door; see below)
- Jerome (beach guy) was very friendly and accomodating

The OK:
- Somewhere restaurant is a good place to have on-site, since it's fairly casual and not as ridiculously priced as many other places on the island (although 2 lunches with no appetizer and 2 drinks each will still be close to $100). However, the food isn't anything special and the service, while friendly, is incredibly slow.
- Bight Reef wasn't as great as I thought it would be. You could always see other snorkelers, and a lot of the coral is gray. That being said it was still a plus to have it right at your door.
- The beach is nice (soft white sand) but very narrow. At high tide the waves came within feet of the beach chairs.

The bad:
- The eyesore next door, i.e. the undeveloped concrete structure that was abandoned in 2008. We were in room 4304, and it was in plain site. If I had to guess, I'd say that rooms 4305-7 would barely be able to see it, and the views from 4301-3 would be dominated by the ugly structure. If you're on the second floor, replace '4304' with '4204'.
- The bathroom wasn't disgusting, but it wasn't nice. Missing a cabinet door, the door didn't close properly, the shower was dark, the water pressure was almost nonexistant.

I was between 3 and 4 stars for this place but decided 3 was appropriate because my husband and I would not choose to stay here again if we return to Turks and Caicos. That being said, I also believe it was the best we could do for under $500 in T&C's high season.

Room Tip: Tips on avoiding a view of the eyesore: We were in room 4304, and it was in plain site to our left...

First the pro's- excellent location, beautiful beach, Staff was very attentive and helpful, grounds were well kept, free wifi. Rahul, Flo , and Jerome were exemplary.
Con's-the units are a bit old and used. Kitchen cabinets were chipped ( but appliances were new), shower didn't seem very clean ( I wore my flip flops in shower), condo unit needs updating in decor and furnishings, no black out shades in bedroom so outside lights shone in room all night ( I had to wear a sleep mask), no elevator.

Not associated with Coral Gardens but on property is a restaurant called Somewhere which is on the beach. Service was quite slow and orders were frequently messed up.
