“Awesome first time visit to GBC!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Our family recently spent 7 days at GBC and had an unforgettable experience thanks to the breathtaking beach, phenomenal accommodations and amazing staff. Our luxury 2 bedroom suite in The Villas was more than adequate for the 4 of us, had all the comforts of home and was clean and well stocked. Only drawback was that the wifi was very weak in our unit. We ate at all the restaurants on property and had great meals at each one. All 4 of us enjoyed exceptional massages at the spa, went on an awesome half day snorkel trip, parasailed and our boys rode on "the couch" about 5 times and had a blast! We all agreed that the beach is the nicest beach we've ever been to, the water an amazing clear blue and the sand like velvet- and very clean. The highlight of our trip was the "above and beyond" service we received on the beach from Jerry, Calvin and Chris- they set up our chairs and secured our rafts, booked our activities at a moments notice and waited on us hand and foot. Chris also recommended a couple of restaurants that we enjoyed (Boci for pizza and Coco Bistro, which was amazing) Our vacation would not have been the unforgettable experience that it was without phenomenal service from Junie at breakfast, Sian and Vivien at the spa and Calvin and our man Chris on the beach. The only negative experience we had was that our private concierge, Julio, was very friendly on arrival but MIA from that point on- once this was brought to his attention, manager Ricky was all over it and Willah took over and took good care of us. Overall, one of the best family vacations we've ever had- would HIGHLY recommend GBC, can't wait to go back!!

We stayed this past weekend for my special birthday and was treated like royalty. Wilha was our personal concierge who was available at any time of the day, he even hung out with us for a while on his day off (in the ocean). The accommodations were breathtaking and the rooms very comfortable though we wonder why the TV wasn't in the living room but in a small sitting area? We really didn't watch TV only to catch the Belmont but 6 of us in the "lounge" was a bit tight. Loved the soaps and lotions that were available in the bathrooms. Our first night we had some appetizers at the infinity bar which were yummy. Then we ate late at the Grill and was not as impressed. Fish was overcooked (maybe because it was the end of the night)? Watch the cab rides that are provided as VIP as they can be overpriced and in some cases you can walk to some great local restaurants. We also took a private boat with another group of 4 (ten in total). We snorkeled, swam for conches and hung out at a private island. Well worth the price. "Tino" was our guide and he was excellent. Played great music and made a great tasting conch salad. I also had a massage which was relaxing. Breakfast is included and a must. They offer everything you could possibly want and they even have gluten free items. We would recommend Grace Bay Club to everyone!

My wife and I went here for 4 nights with friends - adults traveling without our kids. This place was great, very nice rooms that were generous in size and nicely decorated and clean. Best beach and water we have seen including several other places we have been in Caribbean. Staff were friendly and excellent service- Willah was our concierge guy and he really took great care of us with our rooms, setting up a boat trip to snorkel, making sure we were happy with everything, etc. highly recommend Grace Bay and would be good for kids too. We'll definitely be back and requesting Willah.

I have been here a total of 3 times now, and will keep coming back. GBC has great rooms - very spacious, with a kitchen that can be used for cooking, walk in closets, huge master bathrooms and enough space for friends or the kids. Rooms face the ocean and the views are spectacular. Because it is one of the "older" hotels on grace bay, it has a prime beach location. The staff is extremely friendly and make it hard to say goodbye at the end of your stay. They greet you by name and make an effort to memorize your preferences. The guys at the beach bar (andre and geoffrey) are the coolest and always down to have a good time. Make sure to stop by there for a drink at sunset.Breakfast is phenomenal - there is a huge selection of eggs, omlets, bacon, french toast, pancakes, pastries, fruits, cold cuts, cereals, yoghurts, etc. We sometimes even ended up skipping lunch because we ate so much for breakfast. I cannot wait to go back to GBC in 2015!

Humungous, cool rooms with superb kitchenette, which allowed you to visit local (Waitrose-owned) supermarket and cook your own meals if you want to. Free bottles of water all over the club. Beach outstanding, although service from pool staff could be erratic at times, with towels running out quite quickly. Geoffrey was great. Free catamarans and canoeing and bicycles. Totally chilled by the end. Experience the dinner for 2 on the beach with a procession of lit torches if you are feeling flush. Watch out for the sandflies though: it should have been a clue that the hotel provides anti-insect spray in each room, and on the first night we ate out and I was bitten about 20 times! Husband not touched though. Solution is to spray yourself before you go out for dinner, but I was an idiot. Elemis products in the bathroom, which is also a luxury. Would definitely go back again.

Room Tip: ask for a sea view, although I think that most have it anyway

One is always a little suspect of any new location booked via a travel agent....well at least I am!! In this instance, my suspicion was completely unwarranted and our travel agent did a superb job. The accommodations (especially post our upgrade); food, atmosphere and service were Five Star. The beach is long with a well-protected bay that my wife and I sailed on every day. The sand is white (in the sun) without rocks and the water is turquois with amazing views from nearly all the rooms on site. The personal service we received from Hudson and Vernon was wonderful. Our initial room, while very nice, had a wall that blocked the view of the beach and bay and my wife loves to wake up and see the ocean. No PROBLEM, we made a request (nicely) and Hudson was on it and had us into a wonderful accommodation with an amazing balcony with a view that was everything my wife wanted and more! The food was excellent, although the higher end restaurant could use a tad more improvement in quality of food for the price as it was higher than some establishments off-site and the food was not as good. With that said, the overall food experience was wonderful. We ate at the Jar on the beach every day for lunch....highly recommend the Spicy Beef and Malaysian Rice jars. Overall, we loved it so much that we booked a return trip within two days of coming home as we plan to take our two children back in the December. It was a wonderful vacation and the best we have had in the Caribbean.

Club is absolutely beautiful. Staff is incredible all around. Our concierge team was always attentive. Pools are magnificent. Dining is good but expensive compared to others off campus. Will return once the airport is completed and more modern.
