“We will go back.”
Reviewed 11 August 2010

Grace Bay is an absolutely beautiful venue. We were met at the airport, taken to the location, greeted with a tropical cocktail, and then shown our accomodations. After dinner on the property (excellent), we retired to our beautifully appointed suite.

Our personal butlers, Jasmine and Franklyn, made very sure we were comfortable at all times. You will get a cell phone when you arrive. Just call one of them, and all of your questions will be answered and arrangements will be made in a prompt manner.

There are adult only sections to the property and family sections to the property. All of the property is well maintained and kept very clean.

Shopping is close by and all manner of watersports are available. My teenage sons enjoyed Snuba and Bonefishing. Snuba is an excellent way to see a part of the reef. Our dive lasted about 45 minutes. We can highly recommend this activity and if you do it once, you will want to do it again. The bonefishing is very good. My sons were successful.

My parents (80 and 85yrs) have special dietary and access requirments. They were attended to in a caring and helpful manner. Both enjoyed the semi-submersible boat ride to the reefs, and of course both enjoyed the shopping near-by.

I do recommend a rental car for at least a part of your stay. Though Grace Bay does offer a shuttle service that is prompt and accomodating, coming and going in your own car just adds a bit more mobility while shopping.

We are told that we were there in the "off season"...August. We are accustomed to temps in the 80s and therefore were never uncomfortable outside. There is always a breeze. In fact, the water was just to our liking in the higher 70s. When we go back, it will again be in the "off season".

We give this venue, acommodations, and staff high marks.

Did not know what to expect. Service was exceptional, rooms exceptional, grounds perfect, Attention to detail was great. Everyone could not have been nicer.

Calls to the States are free from the room!, beach accomodations were perfect.

snorkeling was superb. caught our own conch, had conch ceviche on the beach, went
bone fishing, ate too much, slept too much.

Kyle, the restaurant manager very good. Franklin personal conierge knowledgeable,
great personality, attention to detail.

This was our first trip, It will not be our last.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was both warm and professional thanks to the extremely dedicated staff. Love is found in the details; The Grace Bay Club is a perfect example of representing this very rare and important principle. Personalized service was our top compliment, including our very own concierge with direct cell phone access for whatever we needed! The all-inclusive option is hands down the way to go with amazing food throughout every meal and snack. And to top it all off, there were several exceptions and unique treats extended our way to only add icing on the already delicious cake. I won't specify because I'm not sure if it was the norm -- that much of a treat! 5 out of 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, etc. This was the perfect honeymoon. And we are already planning to return...

We just returned from The Grace Bay Club in The Turks & Caicos.
What a treat!!! It totally exceeded our expectations.
We experienced great service from booking directly with the resort, and throughout our vacation at this beautiful place. We will be back!!!!

Based on our walk down the beach, I do not think that you will find a nicer hotel on Grace Bay. I had 2 primary criteria for this trip: very nice room/accomodations and very nice pool/beach set up. Grace Bay Club excelled on both of these. Since we were leaving our 4 kids at home, we made a point of staying in the Hotel (adults only) with its own pool. (However, do not think that you will completely escape kids--it is very much a family destination also and the complex is not that large). No issues with the room--very nice one bedroom suite--large bathroom with tub and shower, great bed and large living room with kitchen (we only used the small fridge). One of the nicer that I have been in.

In my mind, when a hotel has the big canopy beds at the pool or on the beach, you know that you are in a nice place. Grace Bay had many of them and they are very, very comfortable.

Spa was acceptable. A little small and think the expertise of the attendants really varies--some are excellent and some are average at best. Given the cost of services, they should consider a bit of an upgrade here.

Wireless connection was ok in our room--not great, but they did have a hard line you could also plug in.

Personal concierge service was unexpectedly wonderful. From dinner reservations to new room keys--have a phone where you simply push a button and get it taken care of was surprisingly welcome.

It is not inexpensive and in addition to the 11% tax there is also a 10% service fee added to your room so take that into consideration if you are trying to compare costs.

All in all, I would return in a heartbeat. Not perfect, but few places are--and any issues were really minor and did not in any way detract from the overall experience.

Our first time going to Turks and Caicos as a married couple and we loved it! The resort may seem a little quiet at first but the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful beach location was great! Service was outstanding overall with staff bringing us frozen sorbets daily on the beach and pool and also the personal concierge dedicated solely to you during your stay. We stayed at the Estates section which is most definitely the best part of the resort as it was newly opened only last year. Rooms had all new commodities and it felt like home for a week. The "infiniti" bar area was a little too quiet at night with some staff definitely on "Island Time", but during the day the pool grill area was more than great with the friendly bartender Garth and his specialty drinks. If you are coming from the states, ask for Bob upon your arrival and he'll look out for you the whole trip. Overall we were very happy with our stay and if ever going to Turks and Caicos again will definitely consider this hotel!
