The motel is basically an American Motel 6 or Days Inn equivalent. Yes, there are maintenance issues, etc. But if you are on a tight budget but still want to experience Provo, this is the place to stay. Provo is very pricey. Do not expect a resort at this price. I must quickly mention, the two ladies that work the front office did everything in their power to be accomodating and NEVER with a bad attitude. This means alot to me. Whatever they had available to work with, or give, they did just that, with grace. The maids are not as friendly, especially regarding towels, but I am assuming any missing towels come out of their pay. No problem. If you need extra, ask at the front desk! Also, English amongst the maids/maintenance is limited, although they pretend to understand what is being said. Yes, the TV's and refrigerators are old, but are functional. I mean, we were not in the room enough to let any of this phase us. TV's have many American channels, mostly out of Miami and cable. The bedspreads were Motel 6 quality. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Not a Four Seasons, but remember the price you are paying. Our first floor room had a great view of the Marina. It had two plastic chairs to sit and have a cocktail before dinner. In some of the second floor rooms, you can actually see the ocean, although at a small distance. We used the pool twice and it appeared clean and we did not experience any health issues. No one was using it much while we were there. It is a 15 minute safe daytime walk to Bight Park where the public beach area is. Safe and beautiful! We had relatives staying on Grace Bay at the West Bay Club (exactly one mile from Turtle Cove - 20 min walk) and we were able to use their beach facilities so we did not experience the public beach personally. But we did walk to look at the beach through the small picnic area. We most certainly would have felt comfortable there if we needed to use it. There are fabulous restaurants in walking distance to the motel. I will give my review on them here on Tripadvisor. One we did not get reservations to, but our family did was Magnolias. They raved on it. There is a small strip center next to the motel where you can purchase soft drinks, waters, snacks, wine, etc at a reasonable price (example, $1. for bottled water which was a fraction compared to Grace Bay area or the local IGA Store). Sketchy hours of opening and closing, but a good deal. Right past this small strip center are the restaurants I will review including: The Grean Bean, Baci and Sharkbites - All good and reasonable priced for the island vs Grace Bay area. Folks were driving and taking cabs from Grace Bay to visit these restaurants. Taxi's can be expensive and can take advantage. This was another reason we were happy to get the exercise and walk to many locations. But we did get the hook up through the front desk with a cab by the name of Sonny's who treated us fair, knew much about American movies and TV and was actually funny. We felt safe with him and not ripped off. He was always on time. My relatives at West Bay were paying up to $750./night. It felt good walking away at a fraction of the price. We plan to return to the Turtle Cove Inn for a week long stay during off season. Will give update at that time.

Room Tip: We were originally on 2nd floor 214 - king bed. Shower was almost deafening. Slept well. Fabulous...

Provo is very expensive and we were hoping for a bargain. Hotel is old, run down, has locals living in some of the rooms, and we ended up not staying. There used to be a restaurant adjacent and it was a happening little marina, but those days are gone.

I stayed at the TCI for one night waiting to board a dive boat for a week of diving in the area. I chose it because it was the least expensive option in the Grace Bay area. It is a very basic hotel. The rooms are spartan, comfortable (very firm) bed, a dresser, cable TV with a good number of channels, a chair. The room was exceptionally clean, although it was dated. Nice view of the marina from my balcony.

Other than a pool and wifi, there are few amenities. Although the pool appeared to be cleaned daily, there did not appear to be any water flow. I checked on of the surface skimmers and could not detect any flow. No one went into the pool while I was there, but the were only a handful of guests. Wifi was free and worked well throughout the inn.

There isn't much close by. There is a national park within walking distance which, I was told, has a decent beach. I did not check this out. There is one restaurant close by, the Tiki Hut. I ate dinner there and it was quite good. There is a coffee shop near also, the Green Bean. They serve a decent breakfast and lunch if you're not too fussy.

If you're staying here, you must rent a car to get around. Taxis are extremely expensive. As I was here for less than 24 hours, I walked to dinner and breakfast. This hotel is a long way from the main already of Grace Bay.

In summary,, this is a decent place for a short, inexpensive stay, but will get real old if you're here for a week or so. It is definitely not a resort, but a comfortable, inexpensive basic room.

A little off the main beaches (on grace bay), 30 minute bike and a 5 minute drive. There is a bicycle and car rental next door, as well as local restaurants and coffee breakfast nearby (since it is not included).

The hotel's facilities are a little old and a little careless, good to go to sleep. The hotel staff is great, very friendly. Great Wi-fi.

I was like 10 nights, the only problem was the noise in two nights, which lasted until 2 am, in a house next door. Probably this is not normal.

This hotel / motel style place is right off the boat dock in Provo. It is simple and clean although a bit worn out. It has a pool which is rarely used other than training for scuba diving. As I said it is right on the dock where fishing and pleasure boats dock. I stayed here to dive wiht Provo Turtle Divers . The dive shop is only a couple hundred yards away. There are 2 good restaurants , Tiki Hut and Shark Bite within sight. You cant beat the price for a room and the Tiki Hut restaurant is also reasonably priced and a local favorite.

Room Tip: The doors face the pool but the rooms on the ground floor have a sliding door and a small patio faci...

We stayed at Turtle Cove Inn because we wanted a quite place to stay in Providenciales that wasn't too expensive. The accommodations were wonderful, and the front desk and cleaning staff were always kind and helpful. It is generally very quiet and peaceful. Some great restaurants close by, including the Green Bean Cafe. Rent a car next door from Bob for a great way to see the beaches around the island.

well, was forced to stay here based on a group decision for cheap rates.
Let's see...
Large and fast beatles in the room - check
Noxious odours, either of septic system or massive amounts of bleach - check
Tiny no-see-ums to leave your legs covered in bites - check (these weren't from bed bugs, which one person did have)
Laundy room left open all day with "clean" sheets lying on filthy tables - check
Check-in and front room help whenever they feel like it - check
Ants, ants and more ants - check
Ok, enough said, I honestly don't have a single positive thing to say about this place.

Room Tip: Lots of vacation rentals very close by, not a lot more money and so much nicer that you couldn't...
