My wife and I got a great deal at this place. The accommodations are comparable to a Westin resort, but the price was better. Whatever you do, go for the Ocean View room. It's totally worth the extra money to be able to eat breakfast on the balcony overlooking such a beautiful view everyday. The pool and hot tub were immaculate, and virtually empty! 3/4 of the times we went swimming, we were the only ones in the pool area! Our only complaint is that it's a LONG walk to get to Grace Bay (where the tourist area really is). We ended up taking cab rides for about $16-$20 each way, which adds up quickly. There were a few really good restaurants which were close too, but not enough to get you through a whole week without going to Grace Bay a few times. The beaches at T&C are superb! Best I've ever seen anywhere. Like most resorts on the island, it wasn't a far walk to get there either. Loved the free internet that worked anywhere on the island, and the free local cell phone too!

Room Tip: Ocean View rooms are definitely worth the extra cost!

Just returned from a week at la vista and couldn't be more pleased. It was a fantastic lace to stay, new, modern, clean, just everything you could want in a room. Staff was extremely curteous and corrected what minor problems we encountered(internet down, hot tub not working) within minutes of calling. The view is amazing and u are a 5 min walk to the beach. Minute walks to several great places to eat and a 10 dollar cab ride to all the other restaurants and shopping. Stay at this place...you will not find a better place to stay guaranteed.

This hotel was perfect the rooms were clean well maintained. The pool was so clean I liked the fact that they had a side for the Kids/Adults and one only for the adults. The staffs were excellent they were friendly and very helpful. This is a hotel that everyone should visit you will not regret it. The only bad thing I have to say would be there are a lot of steps no elevators other than that this was paradise.

Room Tip: Ocean View is the best.

What a great concept! High end condo, ocean views and one of the best beaches with snorkeling a short distance walk! This must be the best kept secret on the island! These rooms are as nice as the beachfront properties on grace bay at half the price. I have stayed in several and will return to la vista azul. My advice rent a car and enjoy a different beach each day!
We stayed in 4301 a quiet end unit near an upper parking area ( very few stairs to this unit and fantastic views) and had everything we needed for our stay! The staff were fabulous handling all our many requests!! All the positive reviews about Caesar the resort manager and his team are true! Can't wait to return!

We arrived later than expected to Turks and Caicos due to some airline mishaps. Thankfully when we got to La Vista Azul, we were greeted by a very nice woman who checked us in quickly. She explained that long distance calls could be made for free from the front desk, gave us a cell phone and charger, our room key and some directions to a restaurant within walking distance. (Try the Tiki Hut on Wednesdays for their Chicken and Rib night. Yum!)

Another person carried our bags to our room for us. As others have said, there are LOTS of stairs. Since we were only staying one night, it was fine. But if we were there for a longer stay, I could see becoming a little tired from having to use the stairs each trip to my room.

The room was lovely! It was comfortable, modern and mostly clean. I spied a few stray hairs in the bathroom, and it smelled like a pet may have been in the space prior to our stay. But overall, I was satisfied with the cleanliness. The closet contained a washer and dryer, extra bath towels and beach towels and a safe. There was a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator and stove. I later discovered our unit was an owner rental space.

What a beautiful view of Turtle Cove and the lower part of the resort! The deck below us had two pools with chairs for lounging and a jacuzzi or two. We didn't use these amenities, but everything looked clean and in great condition. We didn't see a whole lot of other people and many of the units were dark at night. It was very quiet, which was perfect for us.

In the morning we visited one of the small convenient stores on the property. It had a little bit of everything it seemed. Then we walked 5 minutes to the Green Bean Cafe for breakfast. Great coffee, delicious food. Then it was down the road for another 5-minute walk to the beach. When we were were ocean side, It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! We saw maybe 4 people. The sand is perfectly white and the water is crystal clear.

We were moving to another hotel that day for a wedding so we left the resort around 10:30 am. Check out was a breeze.

Pros: Quiet, well-maintained, lovely views, great room.
Cons: Challenging stairs, no restaurant

My husband and I spent 4 nights at La Vista Azul (LVA) in Providenciales in August of 2011. The resort looks very nice and well kept. As others have said, it's pretty quiet. There are 2 convenience stores on the premises, which was great for getting water and other beverages. Otherwise, there were no other real stores open during our stay - i.e., no restaurant/bar, no gift shop, etc. There were few empty retail spaces available so perhaps they will be filled soon. We booked an ocean view room and really enjoyed the view from our private balcony. Our room was on the 2nd floor of building 2 - which is one of the top level buildings. There are a lot of stairs to climb to building 2 (116 steps to our room, to be exact!). We didn't mind the climb. :) There are 2 pools, which were never crowded. One of the pools is supposed to be adults only, but I don't think anyone really adhered to the rule. When checking in, we had inquired as to the availability of a safe in the room and the front desk clerk indicated that there was. When we got to the room, however, we could not find a safe. Apparently, each of the units are owned by individuals and some times, the owner of the unit will lock the door to the closet that houses the safe. We asked if we could switch rooms and they accommodated our request without a problem. We were moved to a different, equivalent room within few hours with an in-room safe. The staff was very nice and friendly. The beach was 5-10 min walk from the resort. The beach was amazing -- white sand with warm clear water. It can get pretty windy on the beach and keeping the umbrella steady was a challenge. Also try to get the umbrella and chairs early in the day, as they do run out. You may also want to test out the umbrella before taking to the beach because we had couple that were broken. There are several restaurants within short walking distance of the resort - e.g. Tiki Hut, Sharkbite, Baci, Magnolia and a steak house - as well as a great coffee shop (Grean Bean). Other than the handful of restaurants, the area is fairly non-touristy and very quiet. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at LVA and would like to come back in the future.

We stayed at La Vista Azul during Hurricane Irene. Everything that could have gone wrong did but the staff was always there to help. From finding a restaurant that would open the day after the storm with no electricity to make food for the people that were staying in the resort and providing transportation for everyone because the roads were flooded, to going to the airport to help get us on a flight. They went above and beyond numerous times. The manager Caesar Campbell and Bianca at the front desk, turned around a bad situation. They helped us to find restaurants, gave us advie about the island and laughed with us when times were nuts. It made all of the difference.

Once the clouds parted, the views of the water from our room were expansive and beautiful. There's 2 pools on the roof and small stores in the complex for everyday needs. Its also really close to the beach and the dock for boating or scuba diving.
Overall, a great place. I would stay again.
