Point Grace was a beautiful resort. The architecture was true to the island, the construction was very high quality. The suites were very well appointed with top quality furnishings, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Service was incredible. Our every request was met with a smile. I don't think anyone ever said "no" our entire trip. The manager was very personable and visited with us personally about our accommodations and in general seemed genuinely interested in insuring we had a great stay. The food was gourmet quality at Grace's Cottage. Breakfast and lunch on the property were excellent and always exceeded our expectations.

I would highly recommend Point Grace!

We went here for our honeymoon.... Everything was perfect, however we were the only guests at the hotel for the time, so not sure how it would of been if the hotel was fully booked.

The staff were all really friendly, food was... pretty good. We spent most of our days checking out other pools & hotels along the beach.

Overall we had a terrific experience and it was a great very RELAXING vacation.

Arriving at the hotel, you immediately appreciate the uniqueness of the location and the facilities. We stayed in one of the traditional cottages which was superbly furnished in traditional style and which had a huge balcony, together with everything else you would need. The Grace's Cottage restaurant was excellent, and the service and quality of food in the other outlets equally good. BUT we are not sure the property deserves five diamonds - a little more effort and initiative could have made the whole experience so much better - though in fairness, there are some features which partially demonstrate this.

It was the middle of winter in Chicago and we needed some warm weather ASAP! After hearing good reviews from some friends we booked at the Point Grace and enjoyed our stay. A few important points: This is NOT the place to stay if you have kids or are looking for any nightlife. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to sit by the pool or on the beach and read -- or simply relax.

It's worth mentioning there is no town to speak of in the Turks and Caicos... just beautiful beaches, pools and some nice places to eat.

There are about 30 rooms at Point Grace. We stayed in the lower level cottage near the pool and it was beautiful. We prefered that room because it was walk-in, walk out and large. The other option is the ocean view rooms -- but they're in a three or four story building.

Our only gripes about the Point Grace involves the service. While a handful of folks went way above and beyond and made the stay a real treat... several other people just didn't get how to take care of a guest at a four or five star resort. No drinks were ever offered pool-side (although the bar is 50 yards away -- so it's an easy walk) and the beach attendant didn't set up chairs, offer drinks, towels, etc... he just stood there. I think this is more of a staff training issues than anything else.

Breakfast and lunch on the terrace were nice -- but nothing extraordinary. The food was predictable. Dinner at Grace's Cottage was exceptional. Great surroundings and food.

Overall, stay at the Point Grace for a nice quiet get-away. If you're into a "scene" or like nightlife head down the beach to the Palms.

We have just spent 4 nights/5 days for our 20th anniversary at Point Grace Resort and had an excellent time. The hotel was ideal for a few days relaxing without any kids. Room was spacious and luxurious and the staff very helpful. The free cocktail hour from 5-6:00pm is an excellent time to unwind and meet the other people who are staying at the hotel. The food at Grace Cottage was excellent, but a little on the expensive side which is the case with most of the dining on the island. Weather was great although the bonefishing was a little tough in the wind.

I stayed at Point Grace from Jan 10th to the 15th. Overall I would say that the hotel was a disappointment. The room was nice however they missed on most other points of service in the hotel. It started with our spa reservations getting screwed up (after I had called 3 times to confirm them) and then proceeded to get worse. The front desk staff had difficulty even making simple dinner reservations for us (of 3 attempts to have them help us all 3 resulted in the wrong information or no reservation actually made). In addition they couldnt even handle helping us get a taxi without giving our taxi away to another party. The worst part came upon check out when the person working could not even figure out how to do the simple math and divide the final charges by 2 to split on 2 credit cards. Another point of complaint about the hotel itself is that the pool area only has 2 areas that get sun most of the time and only one small area that sun will stay unobstructed with the many palm trees for the whole day. Also they do not have a gym on the premises claiming that the local gym is a viable substitute however, the Pulse Gym down the road is only open from 9am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays and closes for 3 hours mid day every weekday so if you are expecting to use the gym you will likely find yourself out of luck. In addition I sent a detailed email to the hotel outlining all of my areas of disappointment and frustration in much more detail than I am doing here and have yet to get a response (I sent the email 6 days ago). For the prices they charge at that hotel I expected much better treatment and I will never be going back. If you are planning a visit to Point Grace and expecting good customer service do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
