We loved turks and caicos and all there was to do at Beaches. Unfortunately we felt we didn't get the same level of service as Sandals St. Lucia, which we were expecting. The people of Turks & Caicos are not as nice and friendly we felt. This may be the culture. The restaurants were amazing at Beaches and there were sooo many options. If you like food, this is definitely your place. Lots to do- games, waterpark, pools, beaches at the resort. Felt there wasn't that much else to do off the resort. For the money you pay at Beaches, you don't get the greatest rooms with big ocean views like some of the other resorts on the island. However, if you have kids it's probably worth staying here. We went without kids, and the kids did not bother us. They were well behaved and not that crazy because there were a lot of families and older kids. We just felt the service to couples wasn't as expected with a Sandals. We stayed in the carribean part which was fine, probably would have preferred the Italian part but that was mostly larger family rooms. The new Key West part looked vary quiet and didn't have great restaurants b/c it was an add on. Still pretty but quiet and further from the rest. It was still a great vacation and beautiful resort, just probably would stick to Sandals in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view, but there is a lot of obstruction so you may not get.

My family had the best vacation at Beaches Turks and Caicos! This is our 3rd time here, and the resort keeps getting better. Thank you Nena with Ultra Tech Travel, for making us feel like Rock Stars!
Despite the construction at the airport, we didn't have to wait long before we were on our Beaches transfer to the resort.
Check-in was a breeze and before we knew it we were in our room and ready to start our vacation. Our room in the Italian Village was perfect for a family of 5! Something that a lot of resorts struggle with, NOT at Beaches Turks! Their accommodations are perfect with the separate king size bedroom for the parents and kids room with bunk beds for the kids. Let's not forget the stunning bathroom with huge Jacuzzi tub! Our kids just loved their own private room with their own TV and X-box! Just an FYI, I would recommend bringing your own games if you have them at home, the resort had games available but not a huge selection.
Dining: What's great about Beaches is you don't have to worry about reservations or having to dine at certain restaurants on certain nights. The entire resort is open and you have so many dining options that's it's almost overwhelming. My favorite thing to do is to map out what resorts we want to eat at on certain days (that way we make sure to get them all in). Breakfast at Neptunes was AMAZING! Lunch at Arizona's and the beach grill was amazing. Dinner at Barefoot was relaxing and great. With kids 3,5, and 7 we never once worried about "what they were going to eat" this resort is family friendly and there is something for all ages on the menus. The dining environments are kid friendly and yet adult appealing. It was great to get a pizza at Bella Napoli while we were on the beach or at the pool. Something that we also do every day, is start out each morning with coffees and hot chocolates from Café de Paris! It's so nice to wake up early and take a walk around the resort when it's not bustling with people. It's also nice to end each night with a coffee from Café de Paris while your watching the entertainment at the French Village Stage.
Moving on to entertainment at the resort. There's something for everyone at every hour. The kids camp are so great for all ages. Our youngest loved the Sesame Street activities and when it rained it was a perfect way to spend the time. Our boys loved the x-box lounge and sports that the kids camp offered. And don't worry about your teens/tweens, I spoke with a couple of them and they were having a blast hanging out with the camp counselors and helping out with the daily activities. It was really cool to see the kids having such a good time, (while the parents were really enjoying themselves). Make sure you take advantage of the activities like the beach party, movie night, chocolate buffet, talent show. You may even meet other families and make new friends.
My family and I just love Beaches Turks and sure it's easy to look at the price and say, "THAT'S CRAZY" but it truly is such a magical vacation for the entire family and once you go... you know! Since we 've been back my kids keep telling me "I want to go back to Turks and Caicos" or if they see the commercials on TV they get all excited because they were there. I'd recommend it for everyone, couples, girls trips, family trips, if your human you will love it.

Room Tip: Key West Village is quite and laid back, Italian Village is very nicely centrally located with heate...

We traveled to Beaches Turks and Caicos in the beginning of January 2014 for the first time with our 4 1/2 year old twins. We were joined by 2 other families who had children ranging in age from 5-12.....
The title of my review " The BEST day ever" was truly what we all felt every day and night during our stay at the Beaches resort!
My family stayed in the Italian village and the other 2 families stayed in the French. They both had something to offer and we shared our time between both.
Everyone that worked on the property could not have been nicer. Always a smile on his or her faces:)
The food was good and we probably went to every single restaurant on the property...
Camp Sesame was WONDERFUL for our twins:) So many great activities! We usually dropped them off in the afternoon after lunch for 3-4 hours so they could meet new children and spend time doing other activities out of the sun;)
If you have little ones you NEED to do the "character tuck-in"....SO cute!!!!! We had Cookie Monster come and tuck the twins in and read a story:) An experience they and I will never forget!
All in All everyone on this trip between ALL 3 families had an amazing time!... Our twins are already asking to go back and so am I!!!!
See you in 2015:)

This was our 2nd trip to Beaches Turks. First in 10 years. January 2013 we stayed at Beaches Ochos Rios. We plan to try Negril next year..SInce there are many reviews on the Turks location I thought it might be helpful to compare the Ochos Rios to Turks for those of you who are trying to decided where to go. I will make it short and to the point. My kids are 13 (girl) and 11 (boy)

1. Service - Ochos Rios by far. Ochos Rios is a much smaller property and the staff truly goes out of their way to make your stay the best they can. The kids were treated like kings and queens. Turks service was good but nothing like we had in Jamaica.

2. Room - Turks. We did not spend much time in the rooms but felt Turks were a little better.

3. Beach - Turks by lot. You can walk the beach in Turks. Ochos Rios has limited beach

4. Waterpark - Push. Ocho Rios has better slides but Turks has a big lazy river.

5. Restaurants - Push. Both were above average.

6. Activities - Ochos Rios by the smallest margin. Both resorts have the same beach activities. If Scuba diving is your thing then Turks is better. Jamaica has a lot more variety of activities outside the resort. You have to pay extra for these activities.

7. Shopping - Turks. To be honest we did not feel comfortable shopping in Jamaica with our kids. Turks has a neat little shopping center about 3 miles from the resort.

8. Airport / location - Push. Turks Airport was a nightmare. Long lines and not very organized but once you get in the beaches shuttle you have a drink in your hand 15 minutes later…Ochos Rios is a 2 hour drive from the airport and you see all of Jamaica. (the good, the bad and the ugly)

In the end Kids liked Ochos Rios better. Wife and I liked them about the same. If you could fly into Ochos Rios and remove the 2 hour shuttle drive then I would definitely like Ochos Rios better.

Hope that helped.

Our family has stayed at beaches Negril twice, and my husband have been to sandals five times. We have always wanted to take the kids to this resort, but always found it difficult to find rooms available when we wanted to go. We finally bit the bullet and took them out of school for a week.

The airport is undergoing some construction, but it did not cause any problems. Our transport was waiting for us when we arrived. It is a short trip to the resort, so don't be too concerned if there are no beverages waiting for you! Our eldest daughter (19) was coming in on a different flight, and there was no record of her needing to be picked up. My husband gave them the information again, and we were on our way.

Check in information had small errors, but it was easy enough to fix, and we were quickly taken to our room.

The room was spacious and the trundle beds were comfortable and large enough for our 12 year old boys. We did have an issue with no hot water, which they tried to fix multiple times - by the 5th day I could finally take a shower without getting goose bumps! Everyone was very good about it and I honestly feel that there were attempts to fix the issue. The view was of the pool, which I hated and we had the smallest balcony I have ever had in my life. That was a huge disappointment for me, but I should have asked more about the view and the balcony before I booked (slightly terrified of my upcoming Sandals stay in Ocho Rios as I hear the views on the hill are even worse)

The guys at Scratch DJ were amazing with our kids.

We did have them try out the teen gathering, but it didn't go well for my one son as another child smeared wet paint all over his shirt. He was pretty upset and left right away. Tintin was a favourite to both of them throughout our stay.

Francis at the Italian Village pool bar is Amazing.

The food was good at most places, we would probably have to be dragged screaming or starved before we went to Arizona's again.

The departure lounge was nice, and they were very efficient there.

All in all it was a great trip. I prefer the beaches in Negril for everything, but my kids are a little older now and much preferred the water park at this location. If you get a chance try the surf machine!

If you want a worry free family vacation I still say beaches is your best. Its consistent and they really do try to take care of any issues that come up.
