This is a trip every family with kids should try at least once. But make sure you book with Dream Makers Vacation Services - Michael M took care of all the details once we narrowed down the dates. I highly recommend them for navigating the ins and outs of the Beaches Resort. Thanks to them we got an amazing room in the Caribbean Village a stones throw from the Italian Village and lots of other vip treatment through out the trip. Now about Beaches- We are big foodies and there are a lot of choices so depending on how long you are staying take a moment to look at the restaurant list and choose wisely. We were there for 5 days 4 nights and we ate at Reflections for breakfast 2x and lunch 1x (Roger and Gary are exceptional and left and impression on the whole family). We really enjoyed dining over at Key West - very mellow vibe and beautiful view of the beach from Skyy and Bayside Restaurants. Here we had breakfast 2x and lunch once. Dinner - Le petit Chateau - was ok, Really enjoyed dinner at Schooners and we sat at the 4 top steps from the beach. Kimonos requires a reservation....If you don't make it here I think its ok. Dinner was delicious but the smell from the hibachi is in your clothes and hair the next morning.....
Activities for kids excellent - Our 4 year old was delighted each time he saw a Sesame Street Character - we attended the evening show and the parade is not to be missed. There are other great activities for kids but I will not spoil the surprise. If you have an 11 month old like us and do not use daycare at home brace yourself for the wonders of Ms. Silvia over in the infant Sesame Street Camp. She runs a wonderful set up with Cassie, Josie and Wilma just to name a few of the marvelous people who cared for our daughter allowing my husband and I some much needed R & R.
I could go on so I will stop. This is by far the most expensive vacation we have every taken. If you are on the fence about spending the money - speak with the people at Dream Makers Vacation Services to figure out the optimal time for your budget and then Go!
You will not be disappointed - oh take advantage of family photos we had our done with Romaine and we are in awe every time we look at ourselves. Bon voyage

We just returned from our 3rd visit to Beaches Turks & Caicos (week of May 9th) and had another FABULOUS vacation! It was my husband and I with our 2 kids (ages 16 & 6) and my parents. We stayed in the Caribbean Two Bedroom Luxury Butler Villa Suite, which has an amazing patio overlooking the ocean. The Caribbean Village rooms are a bit tired, (I was advised that they are updating them this fall) but the location is great and the space is perfect.

Our butler, Carlington, was superb once again! He truly believes in offering the best family experience and exceeds above and beyond.

We have always gravitated towards the Italian Village pool in previous stays but ventured out to the French Village pool this time and loved it! It's less crowded, still has a "hot pool" (as my daughter calls it) and a swim up bar PLUS it's close to the Cafe de Paris, which is just a bonus! They've just recently added some cabanas at the French Village pool, which is great.

I can't imagine anybody complaining about food, as there are SO many options to choose from. Our favorites include Mario's for breakfast (although the breakfast burritos at Reflections are amazing!), Arizona's for lunch and Bobby Dee's for an anytime snack or ice cream. Of course, Kimono's is a must, too!

Our 16 year old loved hanging out in the lazy river and we couldn't get our 6 year old away from the slides! It's a great area for the kids to hang out and have fun!

If you are a beach lover, the water is crystal clear and the beach is beautiful.

All of the staff is great and the grounds are truly beautiful and very well kept. Although many comment about the high cost, it's truly an all-inclusive with all gratuities included and no upcharges for food (which is a big thing!). I love that they do not require guests to wear a bracelet, as it really is a bit annoying to wear a bracelet for the entire week.

I know it can be difficult to choose a village, but I personally think that the Italian (which we have stayed in previously) and the Caribbean are the best options. They are both centrally located and close to the beach. The French Village is very nice, but it's a good distance from the beach (about 8-10 minute walk). The Key West Village was impeccable, but depending on what building you are in, it could be a decent walk to get to some areas of the resort. Just my 2 cents :-) I am looking forward to seeing the renovations they do in the Caribbean Village.

Just a tip - be sure to take advantage of the photo shoots that they offer. There is no cost, unless you puchase photos. They actually have photo packages (depending on how many photos you want to buy) and put them on a CD for you to take home. You can then print and crop the pics as you wish and the price is very reasonable - especially for amazing, family photos!

As mentioned, it was another amazing family vacation and already looking forward to our next visit there!

Room Tip: See above :-)

This was our 3rd stay at Beaches T&C and love it even more every time we go! We were upgraded to the new Key West village which was lovely, very quiet and only 5 minutes extra walk to the central areas. The suite was lovely, very fresh, great fittings and a full kitchen as an extra bonus. Our two girls (3 & 6) loved all the Sesame Street activities and made some lovely friends. Our prime reason for going this time was for our vow renewal ceremony after 10 years marriage. Shanrica, our planner, was amazing, answering all my questions and making things happen instantly. We managed to try 18 out of 19 of the restaurants over the 2 weeks, only missing out 1 of the pizzerias. We finally managed to agree on some favourites, Bayside for breakfast, Arizona's for lunch and Neptune's for dinner. All of them are pretty amazing though.
Thank you so much Beaches for an amazing 2 weeks!!!

We traveled to Beaches first week in June with 2 adults and two children(4 and 1) in the French Village. It was an absolutely amazing time.
Grounds: stunning and very well maintained.
Rooms: rooms are kind of small for the price you pay but you do not end up spending too much time there. they do clean your room twice daily. they will provide you with microwave if needed. they stock your mini fridge with plenty of bottled water and soda and cartons of whole milk if you need for the kids. wifi is not included but at a five star resort, it should be.
Beaches: probably one of the best in the world.
For kids: there is so much to do for children. there are sesame street activities all day. they have camp sesame(no extra charge open from 9am-9pm) where you can drop your kids off. we dropped them off twice to eat at the adults only restaurants. our kids enjoyed their time there.
they have a restaurant for kids bobby dees which is open from 11am to 6am where you can pick up food for them or eat in. we usually picked up something for them here and then went to a restaurant.
Restaurants: Excellent. The only negative is the wait sometimes. if you eat around 6pm, you will be ok. but around 7pm, the waits are very long around 45 mins which is very inconvenient. the resort should expect everyone to eat around 7pm and have appropriate accomodations. also, at the two pizza places(napolis and dinos), you have to wait 50 minutes any time of day for a pizza which is also ridiculous. you can get yourself a nice sitdown gourmet meal faster than you can get a pizza. all the breakfast buffets are pretty good and exactly the same. make reservations at kimonos your first day if u want to eat at this hibachi restaurant-food is ok but it is more about the experience and lively chefs.
Taxis: beaches picks u up and drops u from the airport but if u want to venture off the resort its very expensive. for an 8 min taxi ride to grace bay shopping area, it was $24 one way. there is not much to do outside the resort anyways. the shopping area is pretty dead.
Airport aka bus station: the worst part of ur trip will be the flight out. beaches drops u off 3 hrs pre-flight but if u bug them, u can get it pushed back a bit. the airport is tiny with no AC and three small fans and very crowded. this is the worst airport experience of my life.
Overall, beaches is very expensive but worth it especially if you have kids.

This was our fourth year at Beaches in Turks and Caicos.

The resort is such a great full family experience. The staff is always very courteous and helpful. Many have been there for the past four years. It was nice to see familiar faces throughout the resort. The young me. who work at the different waterspouts areas are so patient, safety conscious, and friendly to the kids of all ages. They are equally helpful with the adults.

The island is beautiful and the weather has been spectacular each year we have spent these. We actually had some rain this year for the first time.

Throughout the resort the staff made our stay a remarkable experience again. The assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Morris Wilkes, seemed to be everywhere and always going above and beyond to make our family of five very well situated and take care of. I have witnessed him extending the same customer-centric attitude with many other families during our trip.

The new cardio exercise equipment in the gym is a nice addition. The strength equipment is beyond truly dated. They need some help here. There has been a 40 pound dumbbell missing for the last three years. This year they are also missing a 30 pound dumbbell. Quick easy fix but, not happening for some reason.

My little ones ask me everyday of the year "when are we going back to Beaches ?"

I hope to continue to make Beaches our annual dream vacation. The price seems to be going up dramatically each year and the addition of the new section of housing put a major stress on the existing infrastructure already there. During the busiest times they can handle an additional 500 families without the pools and resources to meet the new loads' demand. Towels and chairs were hard to come by during the peak days.

The snorkeling available down the beach a short walk is a must do ! The beach water sports staff are also very helpful and safety conscious. One of the staff took me out on the motor craft to help me find my sunglasses that had blown off during our complimentary catamaran ride. He was excellent and we even found the glasses. Amazing !! He spotted them at the bottom of the ocean.....

All in all a must visit location for any family if it fits your budget. Once you are there you do not need to spend anything further. They have activities, food, and beverage continuously available for all.

Enjoy !!

First of all, we had a great time as a family and with the friends we traveled with. However, we were very disappointed with the food, the activities, the housekeeping service, and the kids club.

The food was overall below average. We had a good meal at Neptunes and Schooners, but aside from those two restaurants, we weren't impressed. We had dinner one night at Le Petit Chateau, the adults only restaurant, and we were expecting very good food, but this might have been the worst restaurant at Beaches. The children's menu was very limited, too, and sometimes there were no kid's choices.

We were expecting a lot of planned activities, and there really wasn't anything we wanted to do. A lot of the daytime activities were in the Caribbean Village which wasn't a nice as the Italian Village where we were staying. We went to one Sesame Street show which was just okay. And we went to an outdoor movie, Frozen, which the kids enjoyed.

The housekeeping service kept the room clean, but they rarely replenished our wash cloths, and we had to call twice a day to ask for more, sometimes being told they didn't have any. If anyone's tried to clean a kid who's been on the beach all day, you need a wash cloth. They also never replaced our wine glasses. We'd open a bottle of wine each night, then walk with a glass of wine to dinner, leaving our wine glasses on the dinner table. We expected our wine glasses to be replaced when our mini fridge was filled. One of the sinks in the bathroom was clogged the entire trip, too.

The kids club wasn't what I thought it would be. We've been on cruises with fantastic kids clubs & activities, and I thought it would be like that. At Beaches, they bring the kids to public activities throughout the day. I was personally uncomfortable with that (our kids are 5 & 8), and felt like my kids wouldn't be supervised like I would look after them--especially around water. They did go the one night we went to the adults only dinner, and my little one ended up crying. It was very chaotic at pickup & they didn't have our password. We had to walk back to the office so they could look up our information. Plus we had to wait about 20 minutes to get our little one because they were walking from one activity to the next & they couldn't tell us which route they were taking.

All in all, it was a fun trip hanging out at the pool & on the beach, but we felt like we could book a hotel anywhere & do the same thing.

Room Tip: Italian Village had nice rooms. The new Key West Village looked very nice, too.

This is by far the most beautiful, clean resort we have ever visited. Today is our last day and I am sitting poolside as I write this. I would have given 5 stars except for the inconsistency of the staff. While some made every effort to smile, say hello, etc. others seemed as though they were mute, especially in the outdoor grille at Arizona's restaurant. They actually seemed as though they hated their job. Le Petite Chateau is hands down the best restaurant!! No children under 16 but no problem. Bobby D's is right next door and our 12 year old grandsons ate there. Lots of food choices, the water park is fun and lots of pools. The resort never seemed crowded. We stayed in the Italian Village which was great but didn't care for the pool. Lots of complaints from guests that the pool water was too hot and it was. It's wasn't refreshing at all. We were told the pool was heated, who knows why. We had massages at the spa and it was average. We would definitely return and probably stay in the French Village for it's central location and pool. Fish and chips at Cricketer's was great and so were the staff in the restaurant. Staff at Sky was also very nice.
