“Best place to stay on Provo for Couples”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2011

A great 21 suite luxury resort on Grace Bay. We walked nearly the entire Grace Bay beach, and Turks and Caicos Club has by far the best location if you want peace and quiet. It is away from the big condo/hotels and all the commotion. It also has the widest, quietest, most private and relaxing beach. The hotel is first-class. The suites are clean, well appointed, large, and ours was right on the water with a great large patio. The pool is beautiful and surrounded by lovely gardens. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. Room was kept perfectly clean and there was twice a day service. Great snorkeling right off the beach is less than a five minute walk. Breakfast was served pool-side in a lovely spot - the selection was limited and a bit repetitious after a week, but overall it was perfectly adequate and included in the room rate. If you have children, and want an activities program for them, this might not be the place for you, but if you're a couple looking for a wonderful romantic getaway, you won't do better anywhere on Provo.

What a wonderful place to enjoy the paradise of the Turks & Caicos. This is a small hotel ideal for travelers who want the feel of a private villa without the expense. Henrietta and Abdul greeted us warmly even though we arrived much later than expected! Their rum punch was delicious. Rebecca, the owner, made us feel like her personal guests. The beach is the cleanest, thanks to Roger, and quietest on the Grace Bay. You will be far from the crowds of the large hotels, but within walking distance of some very good eating establishments on the beach or in nearby hotels. The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and very clean. Do not expect a lively bar scene, entertainment, or celebrities. The other guests were very friendly, many of them repeat visitors. The few children were very well behaved. It would be best to have a rental car if you want to eat at some of the excellent restaurants or visit other parts of the island. We are already planning our next visit to the Turks & Caicos and will definitely stay here.

This condo hotel had not only great service , which you expect at this price point, but the greatest spot on a wonderful beach. The ocean view rooms where that - wonderful ocean views off your veranda. Twice daily maid service left little/no housekeeping duties for you to be concerned with. Start you day with a hearty breakfast - then big decisions - sit by the quiet pool or the quiet beach, maybe a sailboat ride. My wife and I will definitely return to this island and this hotel. This is not an hot action spot - which is just what we wanted.

I've never written a review before and feel badly that I am so late in doing this. First let me say that I am basically OCD when it comes to investigating where to stay on vacations. We originally booked a different hotel but had to cancel our trip. When we went re-book, I decided on Turks & Caicos Club after speaking with the owener on the phone. She is amazing! We reserved a car through Grace Bay Car rentals, which I highly recommend. It was so easy and we loved having a car to drive around. We are in our mid 30's, no kids and wanted the type of hotel that felt like home. We were on the 2nd floor, which is the best. We were the 2nd room from the right if looking at the hotel from the beach. It was perfect! So nice to have a kitchen and sitting area with T.V. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, spa like feel then this is not the place for you. It was perfect for us. Nice, clean, huge rooms and balcony, extremely friendly staff, and affordable. We made our coffee each morning in the room and sat out on the HUGE balcony looking at the ocean. We watched many sunsets from there too. The free breakfast they provide far exceeded our expectations...the best French Toast & omelets! Every morning the nicest guys set up chairs and umbrella's, just enough for the guests staying there. Then they took them down later each evening. The width of beach in front of the hotel is by far the best that we saw, and we walked up and down in both directions. It's peaceful and quite there, which is what we wanted. We actually packed a blender and made our own drinks to take down to the beach too. The pool is tiny, but we never even thought about laying by the pool. The water and beach are so gorgous, you'd be crazy to be by the pool. The best thing about the ocean water here is that it's the perfect temperature and there are no waves so you can be in the water all you want without being splashed. This hotel made us feel like we had our own mansion...only a few other couples there. Everyone was friendly, and there where no kids during our stay. Another huge perk is that you are just a very short walk (5 min) to great snorkeling, which we did just about every day. We also walked to another snorkeling spot about a 20 min walk and hardly anyone there.
We were not overly impressed with the food on the Island but we're picky eaters. Ironically, the best dinner we had was an Italian restuarant there...can't remember the name but there's probably only 1. It's authentic Italian and very good. We also really liked "Somewhere Place" which is right next door to the hotel. We ate there twice. They have great Nacho's and Fish Taco's. We ate lunch in our room every day as we had bought groceries for sandwiches and snacks. We went Scuba Diving one day...that was really fun...my first time. We hope to go back to Turks and Caicos soon and wouldn't stay anywhere else! If you have any questions just let me know.

My husband and I took a week long trip to Turks and Caicos with our two young children and chose this hotel mostly because it seemed removed from some of the busy beach activity in Provo. We wanted some peace and quiet and indeed T and C Club is located in a lovely, semi-remote part of the beach. But the hotel itself was nothing special. The restaurant was closed for dinner and only served breakfast and lunch (both menus were very limited and of very poor quality). We knew that there wasn't a dinner option at the resort when we booked the room, but somehow it turned out to be a bigger disappointment than we imagined. At T and C Club we had to venture out to eat most evenings and that was tough with our cranky little ones. The hotel rooms are fully equipped with nice kitchens so theoretically we could have made dinner at home and eaten there, which we did do several rainy nights (the weather was awful). But the local supermarket was so overpriced and you had to take an expensive taxi to get there and back. And frankly I didn't want to cook for the family on my vacation so I was a bit bummed. The great thing about the room though was the washer/dryer combo. Even though I was trying to avoid chores on this holiday, I really appreciated being able to dry the kids' wet bathing suits quickly so that they could reuse them the next day. The pool was average, small, and really cold. We didn't use it much. Luckily the beach was gorgeous with soft white sand and warm water. The hotel provided chairs and umbrellas and beach toys, which kept the kids happy. There was sporadic beachside bar/restaurant service- not a big deal, but we really were paying a lot for this hotel and hoped for more. The staff was sufficiently friendly, but definitely didn't go out of their way to help us or make us feel terribly welcome. Again, this wouldn't bother me much if it weren't for the 5 star rating and high price of this hotel. I guess we were expecting more for the money. So bottom line- we had a good time as a family despite the very bad weather (obviously no one's fault) and the no-frills environment of T and C club, but I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it to friends because I didn't think the overall experience justified the expense. Just for reference, we have been to and loved Four Seasons Nevis.

Just returned from an amazing stay. It was the off-season, so the hotel was even more quiet than normal. We were greeted by the very friendly staff and then shown to our spacious suite. The room was larger than I expected with a full kitchen and living area. the large balcony overlooked the beach and the ocean. I would definitely recommend renting a car - we used Grace Bay Car Rental and were very pleased. You can walk to a few restaurants, but it is nice to have a car to explore the island. I would also recommend doing the Snuba, renting jet skis to explore the island, Somewhere for dinner and live music, Magnolia Wine Bar for dinner, and Hemmingways for lunch.

The Turks and Caicos Club does not measure up to similarly priced (and rated) hotels on Provo. Recent review regarding substandard breakfast - and lack of an award winning on-site evening dining option are correct. Workout facility was not cleaned daily - very dirty by our third day. Certainly not a 4 or 5-star option

Turks & Caicos Club takes great pride in making sure each guest has a wonderful experience and enjoys good value. When we are aware of a guest’s unhappiness, we do whatever possible to correct the situation and create a memorable stay. We wish the guest had mentioned their issues, however management believes the motives behind this review are questionable. Turks & Caicos Club is located on one of the finest wide stretches of white sand beach next to the island’s best snorkeling reef with no public access on either side. Our spacious suites all have full kitchens and range from 1,150 – 1,600 sq ft. and private balconies. Our restaurant is opened daily with complimentary full breakfast for guests; lunch and beach/bar service is available. As we are not currently open for dinner, our concierge arranges dinner reservations for guests, and they enjoy a multitude of excellent dining options within walking distance or a short cab ride away. We have a fully equipped air-conditioned fitness room that is cleaned several times daily. As Provo’s only 21-suite boutique beach hotel, we work hard to ensure a home away from home experience, which is why so many of our lovely guests return year after year.
