Description: TURKS KEBAB, Doner kebab, literally "rotating kebab" in Turkish, is sliced lamb, beef or chicken, slowly roasted on a vertical rotating spit. The Middle Eastern shawarma, Mexican tacos al pastor and Greek gyros are all derived from the Turkish doner kebab which was invented in Bursa in the 19th century by a cook named Haci Iskender. Doner kebab is most popularly served in wrap and pita bread,...... As it is best... Known, with salad, but is also served in a dish with a salad and bread or French fries on the side, or used for Turkish pizzas called pide or "kebabpizza". Take-out doner kebab or shawarma restaurants are common in many parts of Europe. Doner kebab is popular in many European countries, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Like other ethnic foods brought by travellers, the kebab has become part of everyday cuisine in many countries around the globe.

Great food. We got takeout but they have a nice little courtyard. Some of the best food we had on the island.

A little place on the side of the road that makes the most delicious Gyros. We ordered gyros on a pita with rice and french fries on the side, as well as a Greek salad.
I read a TA review about the gyros having tomato sauce on it and the meat being dry. Not in our case. Our gyro meat was flavourful and moist, and no tomato sauce to speak of. Prices are very reasonable.
We took our dinner to go and ate back at our resort. It's past the GraceWay Gourmet and Avis Car Rental on your left hand side. We will be back to Grace Bay next year and hope to try more items from their menu.
During our trip we discovered the smaller understated eateries served the best food and the people working there were the friendliest.

We would never have found this place without Trip Advisor. Definitely off the beaten track, but worth searching for it. The food was great and relatively healthy compared to similar places. The owner and a young European man that works there were very friendly and attentive. My wife spilled her water and they brought her another bottle and didn't charge us. The prices are unbeatable. You won't find another meal this good for twice the price! If you're looking for a cheap, easy meal that gives great quality for the price, I don't think you can find a better place on the islands.

What more can I say.... the title says it all. We had two meals at this homely little restaurant (just by the Graceway Supermaket) and loved it each time. I highly recommend it.

It was amazing to find a real Turkish food miles and miles away from Turkey. It is not a fancy restaurant, it is more for locals and tourists who wants to taste good Turkish food. Everything we ate was delicious. Strongly recommended.
