This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and The Palms and we loved it! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the rooms very spacious and clean and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The spa was beautiful. The hotel is within walking distance to town and other hotels. The trip from the airport was very quick and easy. There were very high winds when we were there so we were not able to take advantage of snorkeling or other non-motorized beach activities, which was unfortunate but there was nothing anyone could do to change the weather! We were still able to enjoy the pool the days we were there - we particularly liked being on the "beach deck" which allowed us beautiful views of the ocean while being somewhat protected from the strong wind. We will definitely be back for a return visit!

We are delighted to hear you found the resort beautiful and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Lying at the heart of The Palms - the superbly sculpted serpentine pool- or the beach deck is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful views. We look forward to your return!

Nine of us came to The Palms for a winter get-away to The Palms. Our 3 bedroom suite and our two junior suites were perfect. Our housekeeping services by Rosita were second to none. Despite our windy and partly cloudy weather the resort offered a very relaxing environment!

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The food at the restaurant was exquisite and the amenities on site were great. I took out one of their hobbycats almost every day. Local diving was also some of the best I have experienced. Would highly recommend.

I can't say enough about this hotel from the moment we checked in to the time we left. We stayed in a studio suite with a partial view of the ocean from our patio, close to the pool and restaurant/shops. Our room was so luxurious with a grand bathroom, sitting area and mini bar area with a microwave, fridge and nespresso coffee maker and a mini sink. We were able to buy groceries to make our own lunches and snacks and store them in our hotel room (Turks is very expensive, which we didn't realize before booking).

The hotel included a welcome beverage, complimentary bikes - which we borrowed and used for 2 of our 7 nights. We ate an incredible breakfast daily which was complimentary with an omelette station. We'd order mimosas which for 2 was $40 US - yikes! There are so many places to sit around the pool and "adult only" private patios looking into the ocean. The pool bar was great and served pool bevies at a cost but it was very convenient. You only stay at this hotel because you can afford it - we were upgraded and given a concession which we are grateful for because we happened to stay there during "hurricane mathew" all hands were on deck during our stay.

The pool staff always went above and beyond to ensure that you had the best seat and fresh towels. There were a few families there but not many. The food at the hotel was delicious. The lounge had some reasonable items on the menu and beer was ok but us being Canadian and the US exchange not to mention the taxes at the resort killed us!! By the time you paid tax and tip you're looking at 32% minimum and that's US $$$.

My husband took me here for my 50th birthday and we travel all over the world but this will be a holiday that I'll never forget. The pool round beds, private patio and the beautiful beach take your breath away. It was a nice break from the heat to go to our room to have lunch and take in the air con. Taxis are the only way around the island and they aren't cheap! We'd walk into the local town about 15 mins and even biked to the large IGA for something to do. Thursdays are "fish fry night" a locals event where everyone comes for food and drinks and outdoor dancing. It's not something you should miss and very safe. Turks is a mecca of food and beautiful people - just make sure you bring your bank book so you can enjoy yourself. Also there was a company on the beach selling excursions for snorkelling and eating lunch/conch - I'd highly recommend it - they too were amazing!!! One day I'd love to return!!

Room Tip: Try and get a building close to the beach and even if you have partial patio view, you'll save $$ and still be able to hear the ocean
