Description: Big Al's Island Grill is now open in Salt Mills Plaza. The restaurant made its grand opening in November, and offers a delicious variety of burgers and other entrees. The decor is that of a 50's diner, and will bring you down a trip through memory lane with its checkerboard design and red accents. Though the restaurant is the "new kid on the block," owner Doug Camozzi is not new to the restauranteur business. He is also the owner and manager of The Green Bean Cafe in Turtle Cove. Doug opened Big Al's Island Grill in honor of his father, a seasoned restauranteur himself, running successful businesses in San Francisco. On the Menu Big Al's offers quite a unique selection of burgers including their New Mexican Burger, the Sicilian Burger and the Smashed Onion. Fries are offered in shoestring, krinkle or waffle cut. Burgers are not the only meals you will find at Big Al's. Don't miss out on their wraps and salads, grilled chicken, fish or steak options. Gluten-free and vegetarian choices are available too. If you think you can take on a challenge, try the Slider Challenge at Big Al's. If you can finish the meal within 30 minutes, you get a free t-shirt. Be sure to stop by and visit Big Al's Island Grill if in the Grace Bay area.

“Burgers in Paradise”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We loved Big Al's burgers! There were many different varieties. My husband had the Big Al burger which was huge! He didn't intend to eat the whole thing, but it was so good that he couldn't help himself! I had the Black and Blue Burger which was loaded with blue cheese, so juicy, and tasty! Service is friendly and quick. What a great replacement for the Salt Mills Diner that had previously been here. A must try if you are a burger lover!

“Good burgers”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Nice atmosphere, really good burgers!
its a bit expensive as many other places on Island, but that is when you compare prices with US prices.
This place is located right on the heart of Grace Bay, my kids loved this place.

“Great burger joint.”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Located at salt mills plaza and walking distance from the seven stars, grace bay club, and sands. this place is great. The food as better than most burger joints in the states and the prices are great for the island, we ate here twice on our trip. Burgers are $10.50 with a smaller single patty for $6.00. Fries are extra but all in all its a great deal price wise and quality wise.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Had lunch at Big Al's twice during my recent 5 day visit. I was served by Jason both times. He provided excellent and very friendly service. Since I don't eat meat, he recommended Big Al's Jerk Chicken sandwich. It was soooo good! Tender chicken with delicious slaw and cheddar cheese, washed down with a few Red Stripes!

While I was there I watched 3 guys compete in the Slider Challenge. It was so much fun!

Although I didn't have one, the milkshakes were extremely popular. Next time for sure!!
