The Somerset was truly and experience. Our room was beyond perfect. Had all the luxuries and comfort for our family. The pools and close proximity of the beach was effortless. Very relaxing vacation. Food was good but expensive. I recommend visiting the price club to purchase food and drinks. The restaurants surrounding the Somerset were very good also.

My family just returned from a week-long stay at The Somerset and it was amazing! The grounds are impeccable, the staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to help, and the beach is absolutely beautiful with powdery sand and turquoise water. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean view condo that was lavishly appointed with high end finishes. Every time we went to the beach, the staff was eager to set up our towels and chairs. There was always a chair available. Our grown children loved the water sports readily available, as well. We ate breakfast and lunch on the property and it was fine. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner because we were out exploring but we did enjoy the Tuesday night beach BBQ. The staff spent the day setting up tables, a bar, dance floor and dj right at the water's edge and it was a lot of fun! I would most definitely recommend this resort!!

I took part in the May 2014 Yoga Retreat at The Somerset and I have nothing but fond memories of my time at the resort. The program included yoga, healthy breakfast and lunches, meditation, and more. My mother and I attended the retreat together and we had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. I recommend this resort to anyone looking for a spectacular getaway. More specifically, the yoga retreat accommodates all and I would strongly encourage anyone to give it a try! Thank you Sommerset for making it all happen!

My family stayed here in July 2013 and we have to say, this is the best it gets. Gorgeous beaches, attentive staff and a view to die for, this place has it all. The food at the pool side bar and grill was fine, the drinks were terrific and the in house restaurant was very good. I'd highly, highly recommend.

The view was unbelievable. The beach was perfect. The pools were very nice. The rooms were outstanding. Every meal was great. Service was a little bit slow, but not a problem if you can get on island time, too. Will likely be back again in a few years.

My wife and I flew to Turks & Caicos following our wedding weekend, staying at the Somerset, and it could not have been a better week. A great venue, very picturesque, awesome cottages and the food was generally outstanding. It was the "offseason", so it was largely empty for most of the week we were there until the July 4th weekend -- a fact that was very much appreciated given that we were escaping the grind of NYC.

One thing to remember going in is that the service is considerably slower on the island, so once you can get past the fact that food and beverage will take the scenic route to your table or beach chair, it's all good. That is no slight towards the Somerset though, it's really area-wide.

The service was friendly for the most part, although we ran into a couple servers that didn't seem to be having very good days. Regardless, that didn't sour the trip at all -- just a fantastic place to go, particularly in the offseason when there are better deals and fewer people (if you're looking to get away rather than meet random couples).

Couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at The Somerset! I knew it would be a great week when I pulled in and was instantly greeted with cold towels, drinks, and someone to take all of our luggage. From there it only got better.

I was able to experience both a garden unit and an ocean front estate, and both were incredible. The garden units look out onto a beautiful field that is often used for soccer and croquet, and is also just a stones throw away from the continental breakfast. The ocean estates have magnificent views, and even if on the ground level the convenience to the beach and pool sure outweigh the lack of a spectacular view. The rooms themselves are beautifully furnished and have nice finishes.

The staff are some of the friendliest people in the world.

Lastly, the water sports that the resort offers are where it's at. The Hobies, paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling equipment can fill up a whole week on their own. The resort also has a lot of fun activities like the Tuesday night bbq and occasionally a movie night on the field outside the garden units.

Truly a one of a kind resort.
