“Aquamarine Beach Houses - Awesome, As Always!!!”
Reviewed 29 November 2012

We just returned from our second trip to Aquamarine Beach Houses, Grace Bay Beach, Turks & Caicos Islands this year. We were there in January 2012 and loved it so much we booked again for November 10-24th. The beach villas are beautiful, nicely decorated, very clean and well stocked. Bottled water in a hot/cold water cooler in each villa; flat screen satellite TV, A/C, beachfront, great snorkelling within walking distance, and every little detail attended to. Hosts Paula and John Lang will make sure your stay is the best it can be. The staff are very friendly and outgoing, the beach is one of the best I've seen, the pool is nice and the location on Grace Bay Beach is great - you are near the west end of the beach where it is wider and not very busy. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the Graceway IGA that has everything you need for your stay. We have travelled extensively throughout the islands and this is our absolute favourite spot. I cannot say enough about how great Aquamarine Beach Houses are and can't wait until our next trip there!!!!

Stay here the week of 11-12 to 11-16,2012 Paula met us as soon as we exited the car. She told us she wanted to know if we wanted to upgrade to Sanddune upstairs unit, HECK YES! It is a four bed, two bath, fully stocked kitchen, all the towels we could ever need in each bathroom. It has two big couches, dinning room table, dish washer, fridge with built in ice machine, and also a water cooler. The wrap around deck gives you plenty of options to check everything out. Great having the out side showers to wash all the sand off before going inside. There is a nice pool, we never got in it. There are tons of snorkeling equipment for everyone to use, and use a noodle so boats can see you while you are snorkeling out at the reef, Paula will tell you where it is located. There are 3 kayaks to use, they are 2 person, cabanas, and tons of beach chairs. There is also a tennis court and volleyball court. The grounds keeper gave us a coconut, we tried drinking it, but neither of us liked it!

Great location if you want to be alone. We did walk to turtle cove to eat at Tiki Hut not too bad of a hike. We also walked to Somewhere, much closer. We had a rental car so we drove to IGA, which is very close.

Paula was wonderful and very friendly, we never met her husband. If you want a beach house that has everything, this is the place!!

Great vacation, great food, and great beach! Thanks

The sign inside the entrance to the beachhouse tells everything.....welcome to our beach house. If you ever wanted to stay in an authentic beach house look no further than Aquamarine Beach House. Outside your door is tranquil water and a beautiful beach. The location is perfect if you want to snorkel, swim or just relax by the ocean. Thank you Paula, your attention to detail shows in your beautiful property, immaculate facilities and fantastic staff. A special thanks to Maureen our fill in hostess. Don't waste your time at other resorts, stay at the Aquamarine Beach House.......just not in August because we have reserved for the next couple of years.

Stayed at Aquamarine Beach Houses as part of a family vacation and could not have selected a better place to stay. Read all of the great reviews - they are all true. It is why we selected Aquamarine in the first place and now I'm confirming. The houses are in a fantastic location with all amenities and activities (snorkel gear, pool, tennis equipment, kayaks) provided. I could go on, but read the other reviews. I do need to mention Paula and John, the owners. They were great hosts. We arrived late due to weather (after midnight) and Paula, who kept up-to-date on our flight information, met us at the airport so we could follow her to the houses to make it easier to find at night. John, who fishes for local restaurants, saw me and my 3 sons one evening and asked us if we wanted to go fishing with him the next day. We did and it "made" the vacation for us. Great vacation, thanks to Paula and John.

We stayed at Aquamarine Beach houses in Sanddune Villa balcony level during the last week of August. We chose TCI because it looked beautiful and we discovered that they do not get a great deal of rain during the summer months. We chose Aquamarine because we wanted: to snorkle right from the beach, a location that is convenient but away from the busy hotel action and a comfortable suite with a full kitchen. We got all of that and more. As beautiful as ABH looked online, the property, the beach and the beach houses are even more so. The beach is incredible with warm calm water and the reef is right there. We could actually see the reef from our balcony. If you are into snorkleing this is the place to go. At ABH all you have to do is go out to the beach go left, or go right, or go straight ahead into the water and you can snorkle for as long as you want on the healthy and vibrant reef along Grace Bay Beach.
The location was perfect for us. It was quiet, yet only a very short beach walk away from the the hotel and resort action. As well, it was an easy walk, to the IGA. We timed it at 9 minutes, The IGA has everything that you could want and the prices are really not too high at all except perhaps for junk food .
We were very spoiled by our stay in Sanddune Villa. It was spacious and clean and built to promote a refreshing ocean breeze. The bedrooms had air con as well as a ceiling fan so we were cool and comfortable at night as well. I cannot think of a single thing that we were lacking in the kitchen or living room, as it was fully equiped and very organized. No matter which suite you stay in you will find that you are right there on the beach with everything that you need.
But if you do need anything at all Paula and John are there with all the answers. Really, they are, though you may not see them! They are an amazing host and hostess team who have the knack of making you feel at home in what is, in fact, their home, yet with the privacy that you do not have at the usual hotel property.
We rented a car from Scooter Bob's for two days only. The first day we drove around the island and explored. We kept the car for a second day after discovering Long Bay Hills Beach. We went back there and spent the day swimming in the waves. It is perhaps a twenty minute drive from ABH and well worth it.
The rest of the days we spent in around ABH and Grace Bay Beach snorkling, swimming in the pool and lounging on the balcony of Sanddune Villa soaking up the sunshine, the view and the salt in the air.
We are already planning our next trip to TCI and and Aquamarine Beach Houses. Go there. You will love it.

Room Tip: Sanddune Villa balcony suite has an unbelievable view.

We stayed in the upstairs 2-bedroom unit of the Seabreeze. It was a very comfortable condo with amazing views of the ocean.

Paula provides her guests with everything they need to have a great time: tennis rackets and balls, snorkels and fins, kayaks and beach gear. We spent much of our time enjoying the water and the reefs that are just offshore.

I highly recommend that everyone visit Providenciales. The Aquamarine Beach Houses are a great choice if you are visiting the island.

It is hard to write a review that provides a unique perspective regarding the Aquamarine Beach Houses. Every positive review on Trip Advisor is consistent with the experience we had while staying at Aquamarine. Paula is the consummate hostess and property manager. Her love for the natural beauty of Provo is shared through her generosity and comforting charm – putting our family at ease and making us feel at home as soon as we arrived.

We stayed on the balcony level of Seabreeze. For 2 adults and 2 small girls (4 and 7), the accommodations were perfect. The units are meticulously cleaned daily – except Sunday. The master bath was recently updated and was pristine. We ate out for dinner a few times, but since I like to cook, we took advantage of the grill and well appointed kitchen. There are plenty of pots, pans, utensils, serving dishes etc. to prepare any meal. We struck up a conversation with another couple staying the next unit over and made a FEAST one night – curried goat with peas & rice, broiled mixed veggies, jerk chicken, and of course plenty of rum punch and pina coladas. The IGA nearby made cooking at home easy and much more affordable than eating out all the time.

Paula provides recommendations for some local services such as boat tours and massage therapy – we took advantage of both and they lived up to the same level of perfection during our stay. Even Pevo the groundskeeper (I think Paula said he has been there from the start and has done ALL the magnificent landscaping!) was very helpful. In my broken French, I asked him to prepare some coconuts from the trees on the property, for my girls to drink – he was happy to oblige.

There is one story I must share to demonstrate Paula’s hospitality. Upon leaving Provo to head home, our flight was cancelled with no other options for flights out that day. We had to stay overnight. The airline provided us vouchers to stay at the Comfort Inn (meh), but before we even got the vouchers in hand, Paula was already on her way to the airport to pick us up. She insisted we stay an extra night in one of the other units – free of charge!

There really is no place like this on the island – the value, proximity to prime snorkeling, and unbelievable hospitality.

Room Tip: The balcony of the Seabreeze unit provides unbelievable views of Grace Bay. In my opinion, the best...
