“An exceptional find...”
Reviewed 16 February 2014

Our first trip to T&C, and we will be back, due in large part to the Seven Stars resort experience. From the moment you pull into the property, to the manner in which you're greeted, to the high quality service from every level of the organization, this is a resort that truly strives to please and excel. We stayed in two one-bedroom suites during our visit and both were gorgeous, clean and quiet. Beautiful views.

Great breakfast buffet, two options for lunch, and an outstanding fine-dining restaurant, Seven, for dinner. And, you're near plenty of other local restaurants within walking distance, if you want to venture out for some variety. An amazing, long beach, great salt water pool, turquoise, warm water...you can't ask for much more.

Be sure to take advantage of the water sports activities, especially the half-day excursion. Captain Andrew and First Mate Rodney are top-notch, finding not only a fabulous snorkeling site and a wonderful secluded beach cay for lunch, but also a pod of five very active humpback whales, surfacing and breaching for 20 minutes, making for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We, too, were here during the total island power outage, and the staff did all they could to help. Our only thought here was that we hope they will take steps to ensure that their backup generators which power the basic building functions will be properly tested and maintained so as not to fail next time. In the end, though, this was a minor inconvenience, and all the guests we saw took it in similar stride.

Bottom line: you will be delighted, as we were.

We decided to take a last minute trip in January to escape the cold. We were only able to stay a couple of nights but they did everything to make sure we enjoyed every minute possible. From check-in to check-out, I only have positive things to say :-)

This resort has great potential. We had a room on the third floor of building one. It was an oceanfront, with a gorgeous view although there were a few palms to look around. The staff here varies…sometimes we were greeted with a helpful smile, but other times (we asked for transfer advice at the front desk) they stared at us and to be honest I felt like we were bothering them. Service is what makes a resort great, and this is their biggest problem. We loved the spacious room and the condition of the resort. The pool was clean and they have an adults only quiet deck which I really appreciated. The problem was, they rarely came by for drink or food service. You don't have to bother renting one of the cabanas as there are plenty of shady spots, but we did the first day because it claimed personalized service would be available to us all day. This was not true. We had to flag someone down every time we wanted a drink. Don't bother with this. My advice to the staff? SMILE more. It does wonders. Other than that, the grounds are beautiful and lovely. The beach is nice at the resort, and we noticed that some of the other resorts didn't have the same space. The deck looks especially pretty from the beach. We ate outside at Seven restaurant and it was very good. My husband had the tiger shrimp and he is still raving about it. The breakfast is adequate albeit repetitive. They do have a menu that you can order from if you would like to pay for additional items, such as eggs benedict. We also ate at Coco Bistro which we would highly recommend. We shopped at the nearby market which is very convenient. This resort is perfectly situated for walking to places. They did greet us with a drink and cool towel when we arrived and gave us a tour of the grounds. Overall I found the resort quiet and relaxing…but I can't give it a perfect score due to the service issues we encountered.

My husband and I stayed at Seven Stars resort last month. This was our first visit to Provo, and it won't be our last! Just a little over a 3 hour flight from JFK, and a short ride to the resort, the traveling was fairly easy. We were welcomed by a staff member at the airport, and upon our arrival at the hotel we were greeted with warm towels and a cocktail. In no time we were taken to our rooms, which was a one bedroom ocean front premier. It was absolutely wonderful!! Great view, beautiful large unit, and absolutely immaculate.

The following day we hit the beach, which is gorgeous. We sat on the adult deck, and immediately were greeted by Ernst. He brought us fresh towels, drinks and snacks. He literally spoiled us for the next several days. We relaxed, sipped on strawberry daiquiris, chatted with Ernst who was so nice, and enjoyed the breathtaking view.

The pool was also very nice. I read earlier comments that the pool was not heated, and I have to say I completely disagree. It was very warm and uncrowded. Overall the grounds were really pretty. We stopped at the concierge desk, and Leonardo helped us with our dinner reservations. We also were helped by Erica, another friendly staff member. I have to say we were so happy with the staff at this resort. They really go out of their way to make your trip enjoyable.

So for my husband and I, this was a great trip. Easy to get to, wonderful beach, resort, and outstanding service. It is very laid back and relaxing and perfect for a winter getaway...

Just returned from Paradise! Seven Stars is the complete package, we found everything to be enjoyable. The pool area, with decks and beach access is so well thought out. We never had any trouble finding a great spot to relax near the beach. There is poolside dining, deck dining overlooking the beach. The food is fresh and pretty quick. We really enjoyed the beach bbq on our first night there. All the guests and staff are friendly. Our room was a little awkward in the layout, but still very nice. The kitchenette was tiny, but with a small frig and micro, perfect for what we needed. We would return to this resort in a heartbeat!
Be prepared for a crazy time at the airport, it is very antiquated... still did not ruin a terrific winter escape!

This is long over due..my husband and I went to T&C for the first time in late October 2013
Yes it's expensive, but once you get over that ( and you will) you'll find it's money well spent.
As a frequent Aruba traveler, I have to say..we will never go back to Aruba. Only because T&C
Is simply magnificent.. There are no words to describe the beaches. Seven Star was all it's written up to be.. Immaculate! Great service
Restaurants are incredible. We live in NY and I'm in the food service business, so it takes a lot to impress us. We we're very impressed.
The time of year we went was slow..which we liked.
Be prepared to tip everyone..they expect it,but not in a pushy way
For us, we couldn't find a thing to complain about..except for leaving this magnificent paradise
We did a boat excursion that was great! If your thinking about T&C..stop thinking. Start booking
Although Seven Star is on the higher end, it was well worth it..next time we'll be getting the ocean front room..that was our only regret.

Room Tip: Higher floors Splurge on OF

First tme to T&C. Had no idea what to expect. Seven Stars was a great place to stay. Everything very close. Lobby, Pool, Ocean Fitness Center, Restaurants all steps away.
The room was big and beautiful. We had a Junior Suite, but it was plenty of room for the 2 of us. Very well decorated.
Onl thing missing was a swim up bar in the pool. But the pool deck service was great. Lots of servers and the drinks came back fast. Alos, many shady areas at the beach and pool.
Can;t wait to go back!

Room Tip: Make sure you get at least Ocean View
