We had dinner here our last night on St. Croix and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very tropical, low key and romantic. Our waiter, Alvin, was awesome (he took the best picture of us ever!!) and made great recommendations - which we took him up on! He was the BEST waiter we had the entire vacation - - not intrusive, showed up just when you thought about looking for him (he managed quite a few tables). The food was good and presented in an upscale way (restaurant is part of the Buccaneer Hotel). There was a reggae type band that sounded great and we were thankful we were seated furthest away from it . . . would of been too loud (for us) if we were in the same area; so it provided us with some atmospheric island music during dinner. In hindsight, we would of loved to have eaten here every night vice The Galleon (bad service and average food) and The Palms (not prepared to handle a crowd and easliy out of entrees). Our rating of "very good" is based on all our resturant expierences world wide, not just limited to St. Croix.
