“It is still closed”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

The interior of the building is still closed to the public, but the exterior is worth a few minutes and is a great example of Colonial Danish Architecture. The steps leading up the the main entrance are impressive.

The building is great from the outside - and that's about it. We could not come in, som what's to see there we do not really know

“Still closed but part of the island's history”
Reviewed 6 February 2013

Can't miss this building boarded up...found in between the scale house and the fort. Restrooms for use on the first floor. Would like to see this opened for the public instead of seeing it boarded up.

“Sadly it's closed from public”
Reviewed 19 December 2012

The story about the weighing house, the custom house and the fort is worth getting into. Sadly there's no way of getting into the Customs house as it's closed from public at this moment.

“Imposing”
Reviewed 9 December 2012

An imposing building. You can hear the auctioneers and slavers as they bid on humans in exchange for rum and sugar. Maintained by the US Park service. It could be expanded with more imaginative displays. It is an integral part of the scale house and the fort
