We stopped at Pier 69 for breakfast one morning after strolling the pier. To get to it, you had to walk down a bit of an alley, so we didn't know what we were getting into. Once into the courtyard, I had never seen a more beautiful building in my life. The courtyard of the restaurant is surrounded by Danish buildings, and there was this blue one that made me stop, gasp, and take many pictures. It was beautiful.
We were greeted so nicely by a great waitress, who cared for us like we were family. I had a breakfast sandwich, which came with a side of grapes. How nice to have a side of grapes! It was such a fresh touch. The sandwich was sooooo good! I want one again right now.
My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy.. he loved it. And he's picky! He loved it!
This is for sure, a place everyone needs to try when they are in the area. So different, and fresh, and good, and great service, great food, great venue!
