The great thing about Estate Whim is they are linked to other groups if you do a membership like I did so you can get a lot done in one shot

“Need a lot of upkeep to maintain this piece of history”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Easy to miss as it is confusing to find things in St. Croix. We found there isn't a great deal of tourism updates on the road signs and maps. This area could flourish if they would spend time to energize these beautiful areas and maintain the historical sites. I would love to live here.

“Neat piece of Island History”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

If you want to get a flavor of the Island's history this estate is definitely worth the tour. I really got a sense of what the plantation life in St. Croix was like and the ruins of the sugar mill and factory are really interesting.

“Interesting Plantation site”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

Enjoyed the out buildings and restored plantation, but not that much there. Plantation house is only 3 rooms. Thought it was over priced for what was there.

“Must Visit”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

If you're on St. Croix, this really is someplace you ought to make time to see. It's a quick stop and the curators have done a fabulous job of not only decorating the houses but have nicely compiled island history. We were surprised to see so much heavy equipment and it was fascinating to be able to see how things went from relatively simple construction to steam powered. How they managed to hold onto all the equipment is fascinating in and of itself. A very worthwhile visit.
