“nice to see”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

After having breakfast at Pollys, we walked on to the pier. I was glad we went early because I can see how hot it would get out there.,
If you like sea life, there is some to be seen here and we were hoping to see turtles but we didn't. The water is a beautiful blue and fairly clear that you can see fish swimming around the pilings. I was surprised by the colorful corals growing on the pilings too.
It was a spectacular view from the end of the pier looking back toward the island.
I think the view would be better from under the water that from the pier so if you got a chance to dive or snorkel, I'd recommend it.

“World Class Dive”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

Divers will talk about this for the rest of their lives. I do and I've been diving the Pier for a long time. Each dive is different and incredible. Dive it with N2The Blue and you will have the time of your diving life.

“review for diver's on non-cruise ship days.......”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

take your dive card to n2 dive shop about 75 yards from entrance to pier. get a tank of air for $12 and rent gear if needed, wet suit not necessary. as you look out at pier drop your gear to right before the building not far from the shore, you will jump in with full gear. follow wall out to pier and look for seahorses in the shallower water. at end of dock before pier pylons in the rocks look for a large moray eel approx 8ft! there is also a very large barracuda that lives around there. see loads of sea life, many fish, lobsters, turtles and rays occasionally. we swam out under the pier and timed our return to follow the rocks around the other side of the pier to exit the water on the sandy shore. good, easy shore dive. no guide needed .
