This is an exceptional stop for the busy hungry traveler. We were on the move leaving the BVI and had to get food. As luck would have it, we were pointed to this gem of a cafe by the taxi person. Brought us right to the door. Located just outside the departures end of the airport, the cafe sits about a 100 yard walk past the terminal. There is a sidewalk to the cafe which makes traversing the chaotic streets manageable with luggage. This is the place where all the locals and airport workers grab lunch on the fly. We sat and watched everyone from cabbies to captains, run in and grab a platter of chicken, fish and chips and BBQ. The grab and go menu is quick simple and super affordable with most meals packed in carry containers and averaging $3-$4. We sat and chose from the menu. There is the local selection of fresh fish and goat for those who have time and like adventure. We opted for the jerk chicken and philly cheesesteak. The food was hot, flavorful and prompt. The service was happy and local. Highly recommended. If you can , skip the fast food at the restaurant and hop over to the fabulous cafe - it is well worth the 5 minute walk. The take out option is ideal for groups who can have someone stay and watch the luggage while sending someone out to get the food.

This interesting little restaurant is located right next to the airport so it's kind of noisy and not very scenic, but the service was very personable, and the food was delicious. My husband and I split the
jumbalaya, and there was more than enough food for the two of us! Very cool little restaurant for a casual lunch/dinner.

When I want to fly in or out of an airport I don't want to swat flies !! I don't want to swat flies any place that accompanies food!! The beer was over priced and the bartender was not equipped to give us our change back from a twenty!!! Run..... Don't run down the runway but ....run

There aren't many good places to eat on St. Thomas. Atlantic Seafood is an exception. The menu is very local with lots of specials every day. While this isn't really wonderful food, it is much better than what you will find in the tourist restaurants in town and around the island. Please note that the restaurant is in the open air, protected from rain and breezy but not air conditioned. It closes at 7:30 and they do most of their business for lunch. It is also a bit hard to find. Drive to the airport and you will see it just before you actually enter the airport on your left. P.S. My rating is relative to other restaurants on St. Thomas. It would rank 4 stars elsewhere.

Honestly, Atlantic Seafood is a constant on "every" trip home that my husband and I make. It has the best fried johnny cake and bush tea for breakfast, the absolute best pate's (beef, conch, chicken, or saltfish) on the island and the best choices for lunch! Even though there aren't any sunset views or elegant atomospheres, its a great spot to meet people, have a drink or catch the latest local gossip. Atlantic Seafood is a staple for locals coming or going back to the states. If you want to take some pate's home to the states with you, just call ahead, place your order and you can pick them up right before you get on the plane. It doesn't get any better than that! :)
