First of all let me say that the restaurant and staff are really nice.View is great. That being said there is a distinct difference between boutique hotel and just plain old and run down.
I was not looking for a five star hotel however a decent bathroom and furniture that is not from the salvation army is the not a very high expectation. There is definitely a difference between shabby chic and just plain shabby. The pool is lovely but the lounge chairs need to be replaced or scrubbedWe were there for a wedding and the poor bathroom and bad cold shower made it very difficult Towels need to be replaced and we were told that pool towels were scarce so we bought some and left them I also didn't like being charged for violations such as lights on and air conditioning remaing on.I totally get the eco thing but just include it in the room charge. If you like one step above camping out this is the place for you.Not a spot for families or small children.Too many fall hazard s So until some upgrades are done and( they can be done reasonably ) stay somewhere elseMore
