This place is the dirtiest. The walls and the doors inside the rooms are filthy. The first room we checked into the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down in big chunks on the bathroom floor. The bathroom rugs are falling apart. You have to ask for towels and toilet paper. Some of the food on the menu was sold out at 2pm on Friday. The shower stall is so deteriorated that the shower floor looked like it was full of mold and it was the concrete and dirt underneath the building. The building is very very old and needs a total renovation.

I loved this place! We were stuck & just needed a simple inexpensive hotel for one night. It is so close to the airport that you could walk if you chose. The taxi is $4 per person & is less than a 5 minute ride. I called the front desk from Baggage Claim, and the lady was very helpful.

The grounds and garden area are beautiful!! Tropical plants, pretty flowers, tall palm trees, and even mango trees are everywhere. The beach is just about 10 steps out the hotel room door. We jumped right in around 5pm when we arrived, and our teenage boys even enjoyed it because there were little rolling waves they could body surf in.

The room is just what you would need for a quick stay: big beds, spacious bathroom, even a little fridge. Tile floor, so you don't feel bad coming in from the beach with sand on your feet! We heard a few big planes arriving that night, but I thought it was cool - didn't bother us at all. All quiet until next morning. We slept great!

Our flight out was at 2:45 that next afternoon, so we asked the lady at front desk if we could do a late check-out. She gave us until 1pm!! (So generous!) She had also upgraded us to a bigger room with 3 beds when she saw us with two teenage boys. She called a nice taxi driver for us to return to airport. GREAT STAY!! Nice people & convenient location.

This place is seriously better than the 2-star ratings found in some listings. You can walk to/from the airport! It is Right on the beach (like 100 yards from your door). It has beautiful landscape/flower gardens. Very Good rates. Fun beach bar.The rooms are basic but just fine. Only criticism is that the rooms could use some updating. The long-time owner recently (2014) died so i am sure changes are in the making. For 'da islands' that could take years.

We chose to use this hotel before departing on our BVI sailboat charter and it worked great. Very close to the airport- easily walkable if you don't have lots of luggage. Room was clean but dated. Nice beach and bar- what more do you need? Pretty far from any other sightseeing so would not stay here for an extended period. If you are looking for a place to crash for a night or two before or after your flight, this is the perfect place- very cost effective!

Room Tip: Choose the beachfront rooms- not much more cost and nice to be able to step our your door and be on the beach- have a nice little seating area to drink your morning coffee or evening cocktail

The hotel grounds are nice, location right next to the airport and on a nice beach with beautiful water, nice tiki bar and decent prices on decent food. The first room I had was dirty, and need some serious improvements. I ended up in a nicer room, however the water in the rooms run yellow. I asked about this and was told that they have a new plant that was servicing them with water that goes through some new process and when it gets to them it comes yellow. Said it is fine to shower in but do not drink it. I still don't know if it was rust or some iodine, that's what they hinted at, but it was not something I expect from a hotel asking 112 a night. I only stayed there one night. The outside of the hotel is charming, I think if they would just put a fresh coat of paint on the entire place inside and out and get the water filtered to be clear and replace the shower stalls this place would be adorable and worth the money. Staff was very nice, they just need to perk it up a bit more.

Room Tip: room 202 was decent
