We have just returned from our 18th visit to St. Thomas. During our visit, we went to Paradise Point for the Wednesday night sunset party. Paradise Point is under new management and they have remodeled the whole area. They have added a roof over the observation deck which greatly reduces the heat from the glaring sun in the afternoon. We took the Paradise Point Tramway up for $5 per person (the sunset party special price). They have opened several new stores including reopening the Pirates Chest which was there several years ago. The dinner menu is basically burgers and sandwiches. They have a wide variety of drinks, including the famous Bailey’s Bushwhacker. While we were there, we met Dewayne Turner, the son of the owner, and who is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is a big Roll-Tide fan, just like us. We talked to him for a while and he let us know that there are more improvements coming. We have read reviews from people saying that the normal $21 fee for the Tramway is too much. Well, if you feel this way, you can drive up there or take a taxi, or go on a Wednesday night. However you get up there, it is well worth it for the gorgeous view. We were very excited to see the improvements in Paradise Point and look forward to returning next year.

The view from Paradise Point is spectacular! Well worth the cost of the tram ride (which is also a fun experience). Great place to have a drink or two. Food is OK - but the view more than makes up for it. Highly recommend!

The view can't be beat, particularly at sunset to see the cruise ships leave port.
Get a drink and skip the food. I was hoping with the new makeover there would be edible good. It was not.
If you get there early be sure to go up and see the feathered follies bird show and take a photo with the birds. Best spent $20.

Beautiful views. The food was edible frozen bar food. The service was extremely slow, on a slow day. Go up to the second floor and visit the lady with the birds in the back aisle.

I have been to Paradise Point several times, but it was recently updated so i had to check it out. Love the new layout. Food smelled really good but I was only there for drinks and the view. This place is the home of the bushwhacker and they do not disappoint.
