I went on a Meat Gold course for work and they put us up in this hotel. The staff were very nice.
The rooms are the big let down in this hotel. They are in serious need of an update, very dated. But they were clean. Although no one else in my group had this problem, I had a missing celling tile in the bathroom which made my room stink. I got all the cooking smells in my room which wasn't very nice. I slept really well here so no complaints there.
The best thing about this place is the food. The food is amazing. Dinner had lots of choice and although my work paid for it, I noted that the prices were very reasonable and I would have been happy to pay them. Breakfast was also really good. Had a lovely fry up and lots of toast that gets laid out. Overall I wouldn't choose to stay here, though I would pop in for something to eat. But I would be annoyed if I had to stay here for work again. Nice enough for a business trip but not for pleasure.
